About Me

It seems to be a popular notion that women are complicated. Is that really so? I think I'm a pretty straightforward girl, easygoing, open, honest and direct. I enjoy simple things in life, riding my bike, going for long walks, doing yoga a few times a week, dressing up for a night on the town, staying in to watch a movie curled up on the couch. I actually look forward to going to work; I have an interesting and rewarding career and count my colleagues as some of my good friends. In the summer I spend a lot of time at the cottage, swimming and reading on the dock. In the winter I like to ski. And all year round I love to travel! I've visited some beautiful countries but there are many more places on my list I want to explore....just hoping to find a fun travel partner :) Speaking of which, the kind of guy I'm looking for would be kind, intelligent, romantic, and funny.     Um how to describe me?? On more than one occasion I've been called the girl next door. I'm well educated but still have trouble wrapping my brain around the fact that sarcasm doesn't go over well in text.
