Each day, there's a new me. I learn, I improve, and I progress; Life is a never ending cycle of change that I embrace. For one to judge me, they would have to know me; The only person that I strive to be better than is the person that I was yesterday. Nobody is perfect, but I believe there is a perfect person for everyone. I am extremely passionate about sports, especially basketball and football, I hope to one day become a sports journalist. I love to have fun, I like to go out but I am really a homebody. I appologize if I am being a little too blunt, but if you send me a message and I have to decipher your spelling and grammer, chances are I will not respond to you. Yes, I really am 6' tall, without shoes lol; I played basketball for ***years.     I'm not your average girl. I'm crazy, but in the good way. I'm outgoing, fun-loving, and know how to have a good time. I love doing anything and everything, especially if it's outside or involves competition. Some of my favorite things include pool parties, float trips, grilling, camping, playing sports, beer pong, happy hours, and making new friends. Some people take life to seriously and need to learn to relax. Drama is not a word in my vocabulary, and I plan on keeping it that way :)I like all types of music, especially if I can sing, dance or jam along. Apparently there are a lot of movies that I haven't seen, but I always enjoy psychological thrillers, action, suspense, drama, and comedy. No offense, but most chick flicks make me gag. I also LOVE food. I consider an "all-you-can-eat" buffet a personal challenge. If I weren't so hyper-active I'd definitely be a fat kid. I'm obsessed with trying new restaurants (even though I don't eat out much) and enjoy trying new recipes and concoctions at home. Essentially, I'm looking for someone to go on random adventures with me. A partner in crime. Someone who will listen to my ridiculous stories and embrace my weirdness. This has proven difficult to find, so I'm also looking for fun people to do things with in KC, so let's be friends! I can make anything fun.

    lol But really? I don't want to meet you if you look like you can't lighten up a bit for a photo. I had to get that off my chest. hahaFirst, I live in the cities and work at a daycare with infants. I consider myself geek-light. lol I know little bits of random things, but I'm really not a hardcore geek about too many things. haha. I'm a little bit of a homebody, but I do like to get out every now and then. I am in belly dance classes and have been for a couple years now. It doesn't mean I'm amazing at it, but I think I might be able to carry a little bit of a rhythm. A little. I have a background in massage therapy, though I don't practice right now. I also have training in energy work and aromatherapy and such. In the fall I'll be training to be a doula. I'm excited about that and ready for something new.I like a wide range of movies, music, etc. One minute I'm watching a rom-com, the next is a bollywood movie or some random other foreign movie. haha I admit not liking "scary" movies for 2 reasons. 1)most of them are actually horrible. 2)I'm a big wuss. lol I don't watch much for tv just because I don't have cable. Just the internet and local stations. I'm currently just waiting for (BBC) Sherlock to release it's new season. That's a little bit of my "geek" side. Music, I have few guilty pleasures that I don't really feel guilty about. I listen to rock, pop, some of whatever is on pop radio, not country though. I just can't get into it. Again, it's really just what my mood is calling for. I grew up listening to Weird Al, and I will reach for my Disturbed albums, or Backstreet Boys. Tease me all you like. I love cheesy stuff sometimes (movies, too).I am quite a bit shy from time to time, and other times I'll talk your ear off. I have to be comfortable first. So, I really need someone that isn't afraid to talk, even if it's most of the night. lol I TRY to have a good sense of humor about myself. I'm pretty mellow and take maybe 15 minutes to get ready in the morning. (Probably because those babies really don't care if I'm wearing any makeup). I dress up from time to time to go out, but I'm most comfortable in jeans and a shirt just relaxing at home.
