I am a fun loving loyal and extremely honest person! I always wear my heart on my sleeve and just trying to find a guy that brings out the best in me! I love to hang out and watch movies or have a nice drink at a bar. I am brutally honest but I feel like lying is bullshit! I'm not a picky person but I know what I want and know exactly what I deserve. I've been through enough crap though so I don't have time for anyone looking for a hook up or to casually see someone. I don't mind just being friends, but I like to know exactly where I stand when it comes to the relationships in my life. I'm a busy person but I always make time for the things I love and the people I care about. I love my friends and my family so being able to chill in a group is a complete must! Overall, I just want a down to earth man who likes to have a good time and was raised to respect women and treat them well.Also, I want a man that I don't have to take care of. I have had those in the past; and let's face it, I am not your Mother. I want someone that shares my interests and my goals. I want a man I can invite to church on Sunday. I am very involved in my church from playing on the co-ed softball team, to Wednesday night AWANA, and going to lunch after services.I enjoy painting, crafts, museums, festivals, concerts, supporting up and coming musicians, cars and street bikes, driving aimlessly just to listen to music and see the sites, and time with my friends and Goddaughter. Family is a big deal to me. I am a Southerner with a Northern attitude. I am not picky about anything. I crack jokes and find sarcasim to be a second language. Most importantly...I AM WORTH IT!!! First let me say what I don't want.... NO going to the movies on a first date. You learn absolutely NOTHING about someone and therefore have NO idea if you like them. I like to just be casual. Nothing too fancy. I like to go to a baseball game or just hit up a StarBucks for a conversation. Maybe just grab some dinner and a few drinks. I don't want to have to go shopping for a week to buy an outfit just to meet someone. I want a guy that thinks. A guy that will step outside the box and maybe even have me try something new. A group date is something I'm down with as well. I know for me, one on one can be uncomfortable and creepy. Sorry, I may watch a little too much Criminal Minds. I want to feel safe so I can be me not nervous and wigged out.

    lol But really? I don't want to meet you if you look like you can't lighten up a bit for a photo. I had to get that off my chest. hahaFirst, I live in the cities and work at a daycare with infants. I consider myself geek-light. lol I know little bits of random things, but I'm really not a hardcore geek about too many things. haha. I'm a little bit of a homebody, but I do like to get out every now and then. I am in belly dance classes and have been for a couple years now. It doesn't mean I'm amazing at it, but I think I might be able to carry a little bit of a rhythm. A little. I have a background in massage therapy, though I don't practice right now. I also have training in energy work and aromatherapy and such. In the fall I'll be training to be a doula. I'm excited about that and ready for something new.I like a wide range of movies, music, etc. One minute I'm watching a rom-com, the next is a bollywood movie or some random other foreign movie. haha I admit not liking "scary" movies for 2 reasons. 1)most of them are actually horrible. 2)I'm a big wuss. lol I don't watch much for tv just because I don't have cable. Just the internet and local stations. I'm currently just waiting for (BBC) Sherlock to release it's new season. That's a little bit of my "geek" side. Music, I have few guilty pleasures that I don't really feel guilty about. I listen to rock, pop, some of whatever is on pop radio, not country though. I just can't get into it. Again, it's really just what my mood is calling for. I grew up listening to Weird Al, and I will reach for my Disturbed albums, or Backstreet Boys. Tease me all you like. I love cheesy stuff sometimes (movies, too).I am quite a bit shy from time to time, and other times I'll talk your ear off. I have to be comfortable first. So, I really need someone that isn't afraid to talk, even if it's most of the night. lol I TRY to have a good sense of humor about myself. I'm pretty mellow and take maybe 15 minutes to get ready in the morning. (Probably because those babies really don't care if I'm wearing any makeup). I dress up from time to time to go out, but I'm most comfortable in jeans and a shirt just relaxing at home.
