Hello. I spent my adult life traveling through 50 countries and had some interesting adventures and met some wonderful people along the way.Like most people, I can’t be defined by what I do/have done for a living. My resume is, well, strange. I’ve done things that I’; like running bars and businesses in difficult environments. I’ve done things that I loved to do in order to “give back”; like running English classes and fund-raising campaigns. I’ve done things that I never thought were possible, so that I could be challenged and grow;…and discovered that, as in life, I am not much of a distance runner. I like to use my head and my hands at work and enjoy my new career as a massage therapist but still love my creative outlet of piñata making!My bucket list, that I started 15 years ago, keeps me motivated and is constantly evolving. A few years ago I managed to cross ‘SNOWBOARD’ off my list, which promptly had me add ‘SNOWBOARD AND LIKE IT.’ Still working on that one. It was my list that brought me to stare in awe at the Taj Mahal, to jump out of a plane, and to sing Karaoke. And it was the realization that some things are better shared that spurred me to add ‘LOVE’ back onto my list. Finally.Some important things to know about me: I’m easily bored and need challenge in my life. I’m not good with groups…or Capricorns.I’m attracted to big, strong men who are witty and wise.Every day I want to better myself and try to surround myself with like-minded people. I think before going through the awkwardness of a first date talking on the phone is a good idea...and an almost obsolete art form.

I suppose I'm here for the same reasons as many others...to find that special person that will enhance my life.I'm very lucky that I have a career and job that I am passionate about, a wonderful family and fabulous friends. But recently, I've been missing having someone to share that with: from someone that I can share my day with to someone that will be my travel partner as I check out this big world of ours.There are qualities that I look for of course, like kindness and honesty, but I'm more concerned about what's inside than outside. Having said that, I would also prefer someone with a healthy lifestyle, as that is what I strive for in my own life. I'm becoming a regular at the gym, and am currently training for a half-..scratch that...completed it in September '13!!While dating can be a lot of fun, I'm eventually looking for that one man who will be my equal and best friend, so I am open-minded to see where a friendship may lead. Having said that - I'm not looking to "hook up" or go to your place to "watch a movie". I'm not going to give you my *** phone number after a short message...no matter how clever it is. But what's with the messages saying "hi how r u", "hello" or "hey" but nothing else?? I put some effort and thought into messages I send - please do the same. And here's a hint for you...good grammar impresses me...NOTE: If you're married, "not sure" about your marriage, or still living with your ex...please do us both a favor and pass me by... Surprise me...but I'd love if it were something out of the box!
