This way, I can ensure I wear appropriate foot attire when I run screaming from the scene. - Smoking (no matter how infrequently) is a deal breaker. - if you prefer to carry on full conversations via text message rather than picking up the phone, we likely won't be a good match. I don't think a first meeting should be considered a date. However, on a first meeting I prefer something casual and low key - perhaps coffee or drinks so that we can talk and see if there's any chemistry. If this feels too much like an interview, we can take the coffee to go and hit the beach. Lets save more formal situations (such as dinner out) for another night.But hey - while I'm at it: here are some things I've never done (or done rarely), but plan on doing at some point in the near future.
