Been here for 2 years but I still feel like a newcomer. I left my lovely friends behind and miss them dearly so working hard to make new ones (doing good so far). Travelling is HUGE for me. I like nice things, but am much more adventure than luxury, so I explored lots of Asia, Australia, Africa and Europe with little money and a very open mind. More to come, watch this space. I'm active but not gym crazy. I'm in the mountains every week (hikes, scrambles, snowshoeing or boarding) but am just as happy enjoying the city buzz. I listen to pop, R&B, folk and jazz and love live concerts. I love communal eating and cooking. I'm at my best around people but I cherish time alone with a good book. I try to make the most of things and not take things for granted. I hate dating and don't think this internet thing is for me but no harm in trying, right? If there are passionate, well educated and out going guys out there I'd love to hear from you. Would be great to find someone to go exploring with, dancing or hit the theatre maybe? Someone that doesn't live inside their head, so things can flow easy and be fun - no games. Something casual and fun, maybe we can borrow a dog and go for a walk?

    What to say here without sounding arrogant or like I am applying for some sort of job. Which I do have and I also go to school. I would say I am pretty balanced; a bit of a nerd, more of a jock, serious but still in touch with my inner child. I like being active and try to be outside doing activities in the summer time. I really enjoy cycling. I haven't been camping for a while but that is fun.I am not in to hunting, quadding or snowmobiles. I might go fishing but would have to release the little guy and would probably feel bad for putting a hole in its mouth. Some people are really in to cruises, and I am sure they are great, but I would rather go to a place and see what there is to see, learn what there is to learn, and eat what there is to eat! This mixed in with some relaxation and laziness... I'm not).I am pretty down to earth and what you see is what you get. I guess the typical meeting for coffee is a good start but maybe going for a walk or some sort of simple activity where we can get to know each other a little.
