Looking for: man. In age: 35-45
My hobbies include gardening, hanging out with friends, cutting up and having a good time. I enjoy Karaoke for fun. I search for someone who’s not too serious when it comes to fun, and isn’t troublemaker.

1. I am a starving artist. I'm a fairly good one--I just had a book published last spring and I sell my paintings on a semi-regular basis--but we all know these aren't exactly lucrative pursuits. (This is what I get for having a degree in English Literature from Queen's University.)2. I love documentaries, *especially* if they are about astronomy. I love anything that has to do with the stars.3. I was a vegetarian but recently started eating meat, so I'm exploring a whole new culinary world.4. My natural hair colour is red, but now now I dye it dark brown.5. I like really good sitcoms because I love to laugh. Sense of humour is what's most important to me.6.7. I can't stand poor grammar and incorrect spelling. 8. I don't hang out in bars.9. I don't drive. For a first date, I would say meeting for coffee is good, or something else low-key.

What to say here without sounding arrogant or like I am applying for some sort of job. Which I do have and I also go to school. I would say I am pretty balanced; a bit of a nerd, more of a jock, serious but still in touch with my inner child. I like being active and try to be outside doing activities in the summer time. I really enjoy cycling. I haven't been camping for a while but that is fun.I am not in to hunting, quadding or snowmobiles. I might go fishing but would have to release the little guy and would probably feel bad for putting a hole in its mouth. So, even though I like to do stuff I am still definitely a girl!... and I love my shoes. lolOn the other hand, I do not have an appreciation for fine wine but if you do that's ok. I do appreciate good food and dessert.Vacations are great, whether in the mountains or at a beach. If I go somewhere, I want to explore and learn about where I am. Some people are really in to cruises, and I am sure they are great, but I would rather go to a place and see what there is to see, learn what there is to learn, and eat what there is to eat! This mixed in with some relaxation and laziness... I'm not).I am pretty down to earth and what you see is what you get. I guess the typical meeting for coffee is a good start but maybe going for a walk or some sort of simple activity where we can get to know each other a little.
