** I'll do my best to return messages, but honestly, I'm just too busy and overwhelmed right now to be available for much other than that. I will delete this once things have settled down a bit after the move and update my profile then.**I'm a nerdy, thick, talkative, divorced mom of two with full custody. Right now, I am in the midst of grading, planning (I teach high school Spanish and English), freaking out about starting my master's in May, and dealing with my son's baseball season. I also knit a lot and love to bake and cook as well as take evening walks with my children if it's not too cold or do yoga at night to calm down from the day. My students sometimes tease me and call me Mary Poppins because I have certain things I have to have in my purse or desk, but that's mostly because I don't like to get bored and I like to be prepared for anything.I'm Eastern Orthodox Christian, and I'm quite serious about my faith but am not looking for someone to argue with about why one church or faith is better than another--I'm not that kind of Christian. I just am looking for someone to be my best friend first, someone I can knit socks for and cuddle with, someone who's up for camping or random trips and doesn't mind lots of hugs and more.     I am looking for a good person that I can share an intensity with. I believe I am and hopefully would be described as: kind, honest, attentive and affectionate. I am also a nurturing person so family is important to me; I have a good relationship with my parents and other family members. I have one child, a daughter in high school, but I would have loved a larger family so I would like having step children, adopted children or foster children. I am a very stable person; I own my own home and I have been with the same employer for 10 years. Since my daughter has two years left of school, I do need to stay in this area for a little while; but after she has started college, I could relocate. I don't mind staying in this area since my family and friends are here but the idea of living somewhere else (especially tropical) sounds appealing. I am definitely a dog person. I have a ***year old pug that is a bit spoiled and kind of the center of the household. I attend a Methodist Church regularly; I love my church and my Sunday school class. I am not perfect; I, like many others need grace. But I have a faith path and it is very important to me that I be able to share that with the person I spend the rest of my life with. I am a very active person; have 2 gym memberships...probably need to cancel one of those; I like Zumba and spin class the best.; My favorite place to travel is anywhere in the Caribbean; my "I would love to live there" place is Merida in the Yucatan. My favorite local things to do are festivals; music festivals, food festivals and art festivals.; Sons). I love food festivals because it gives me the chance to experience other cultures. I love art festivals because you get to enjoy local talent. I like all kinds of movies but lean more towards comedies, action and indie.; so on Fall Saturdays, you will most likely find me in front of the TV. Last but not least, I do have a sense of humor! My best friend would probably describe it as "left field one liners". Meeting for coffee or tea so that you can talk or get to know each other. Maybe an afternoon walk in a park. Dinner in a quite intimate restaurant (i.e. Italian :).

    Well this is always fun. I have to describe myself and im always my own worst critic (haha). Im an athletic person not your typical house mom.
