Let's see...hobbies, well, I like hiking with friends and my 3 dogs (2 English Bulldog puppies and a Pug), daily yoga, designing jewelry, cooking, making people laugh (now that's a BIG ONE), anything that has to do with music...I LOVE music, decorating, pretty much anything that has to do with being creative, puzzles, anything good that involves animals (NOT hunting them), surprising friends with a gift or compliment they never knew was coming, helping people in need and did I mention laughing? Music is something that has been a love of mine since before I could talk. Rumor has it I used to dance around in my "; dresses "singing" for everyone in the room....all the time. Lucky them.Anyway, I like pretty much all different kinds of music with the exception of jazz. Not a fan. Oh and hard core heavy metal can strike a nerve as well. I can handle the lighter, I guess, heavy metal like NIN (Love new albums especially), Rob Zombie and some Metallica. I'm all over the board. For the most part, I like music that fires you up and puts a smile on your face The first date should be somewhere that isn't stuffy and uncomfortable. Meating someone new will take care of that. It should be somewhere like downtown at a restaurant that you can sit outside and then walk around shopping. Or walk through the zoo and then have a picnic, even though it's hard for me to see the animals locked up. Wow do I sound pathetic huh? I just really love animals if you couldn't tell. Anyway, back to the date. How about a local band playing outside? I don't know, just a few ideas to throw out there

I'm of French and Scots/Irish descent ....very passionate! I love to have fun and appreciate finding balance in life. Most of the time I'm friendly and outgoing, but sometimes I can be shy. I'm very genuine, a deep person with a huge heart. I'm an all or nothing kind of girl. My faith is very important to me.-my time was 3:55. After business school I came to realize what I've known all along; I belong in health care/nursing. I learned a lot and loved working there. I am currently a Neonatal ICU nurse and have found my true calling in it. I look forward to what the future holds. Politically, I consider myself independent with conservative tendencies. I'd also have to say I'm more a collector of experiences than of things. I feel like a NE Coast (NY or DC) girl trapped in a Texan's body. I'm looking for my best friend. Someone to do life with :) Why am I still single? He hasn't found me yet. I'll be happy when he does :) (Also, just coming off of graveyard shifts at the hospital (Nov 1st) for the past 5 yrs. This and working with mostly women makes it difficult to meet a good guy.

I have plenty of quirks and consider myself work in progress, always striving in forward motion. Attraction is in the eye of the beholder, yet appearance and first impressions are key ingredients to build upon. I'm not shallow, but there has to be a mutual 'it' factor and connective chemistry that coincide with friendship. In other words, "vavavoom" is important to me and it's something sensed almost immediately upon meeting someoneYou agree, it's not fair to settle for less, yes? Life is too short to feel stuck in shoulda, coulda, woulda state of being. (been there, done that).
