...;) Is an astrophysicist your hero? Do you know the song I'm with Neil without having to google it? Do you avoid soul sucking reality TV like the plague? You might be the guy for me. Let's find out, here's a smidge about me: I don't particularly like to shop, I'd rather wear jeans and flip flops than heels and a dress, prefer a fresh face over gobs of makeup, and I couldn't care less about labels, the car you drive or what's in your wallet. I have no desire to amass heaps of material possessions, I prefer to live simply. I have little time for materialistic and superficial people. I'm not into the bar scene and the majority of my time is spent with my kids. So, if you're looking for an arm candy princess...I'm not your girl. Creating art and gardening are my biggest activities outside of kids sports. I'm a painter and occasionally show my work locally. We spend a lot of time in the garden during the spring and summer, where I grow a wide variety of organic fruit and veg and I'm a good cook, so it's all put to good use. I jump at opportunities to travel and love road trips or camping. I'm an avid documentary and occasional foreign film watcher. I thoroughly enjoy stand-up and sci-fi, also a fan of Sherlock, Doctor Who, Star Trek and a daily Democracy Now watcher. When it comes to politics liberal would be an understatement...I'm also not your girl. If I had to pick a favorite type of music it would be acoustic blues. I'm an insatiably curious person and I frequent the library almost as often as the garden. I'm not religious, but I strive to meditate daily even if it's just being mindful in a hectic life.I am looking for someone with integrity, who is intelligent, witty, thoughtful, kind, and likes to read. I'm fairly content, so you would also be someone who adds something positive and fun to my life.*Right wing, conservative, religious types need not apply.* I'm not convertible.     How did this get so complicated?     Ok so I am suppose to talk about myself on here, not sure if I am taking this dating online thing seriously enough to talk about myself at this time, but I have to put a minimum of ***characters to be able to set up profile.     I love the outdoors--camping, telemark skiing, climbing, etc but my favorite thing is mountain biking. I've raced mtn bikes for the past 15 years so I'm really into it. I also do yoga, mixed marital arts, and shoot (yeah, quite the combination, I know)My faith is very important to me and it's the most important part of my life. It's not about keeping the rules, that's religious conformity. True christianity is release from conformity and is all about grace. In fact, it's actually quite liberating, not confining. I provide technical support as an expert witness to law enforcement investigations on poisonings and environmental exposures to chemicals. Overall, I'm actually a pretty laid back person. Low maintenance, no drama. I don't take myself too seriously, I have a really wacky sense of humor and love finding the humor in most situations.
