Not sure about this internet dating stuff, seems to be missing that element of anticipation when you hope to run into someone and finally build up the nerve to talk to them after crushing on them for a while. I am looking to have some fun, nothing too serious for now though I don't plan to be single forever. I am not desperate and I am picky (don't we deserve to be?) I am a strong woman that can take care of herself (been doing it a long time). I have a good career, hit the gym about 5 days a week but I still have a lot of work to do. I don't "need" a man in my life, but rather want one. I own my home and got my sh*ttogether and am looking for the same. I drink some but not excessively and I think I have a great personality, so people tell me. I would like someone to go out and just have some fun. Love comedy, and live music, like to dance, would like to do more hiking and love doing "first time" things. I am looking for an adventure I guess you could say.... My friends would say I am funny, extremely kind, VERY honest, committed (and not the crazy kind) down to earth, and always looking for ways to better the world around me. I am not a high drama girl and definitely not a princess, God fearing, curse way more than I should; I have a few close friends and a ton of acquaintances. I want you to have friends and actually go out with them (I'm not looking to be the center of anyone's world, except my kids nor do I want all your time).I would like to meet the average to above average guy next door. (on second thought the last guy next door was really creepy, no definitely not looking for that) Jeans and t-shirt kind of guy that cleans up well (and can clean up after himself) would be great. It helps if you are good with your hands, know your way around a tool box, can possibly hunt and or fish, a down to earth kind of guy. Must have a job (really need we have that conversation), must like kids as I have a 17 year old son and a 12 year old daughter and I am proud to say they are very good kids but you likely won't meet them for quite a while as I don't expose them until I know your worthy of their time. Don't mind if you have kids of your own as long as they’re a part of your life (no dead beat dads allowed) and I should add that I cannot have any more children. I have a small dog (Cairn Terrier) but I am highly allergic to most animals so I prefer someone without indoor pets since no one wants to make that decision later on should things turn out well.I like most music BUT opera and acid head screamer rock. Prefer country, rock, pop, and Christian.I do not do nor do I tolerate ANY drug use. Not looking for a quick hookup so if that’s all you want just keep on moving. There must be a physical attraction for both of us. If you are lazy, addicted to XBOX, don't pay your bills, sleep around, don't take care of your kids, are rude, or thing the world owes you something we definitely will not get along.Well that's a long enough book. So if our interested in learning more, lets meet up. Walk at the park, Coffee date, cooking class, putt putt golf maybe, live music, lunch, comedy club, meet for a cause (relay for life) are all just ideas of easy ways to get to know each other without a lot of pressure. Short and sweet is nice for a first visit, it usually doesn't take too long to know if you have some compatibility.
