Creating art and gardening are my biggest activities outside of kids sports. I'm a painter and occasionally show my work locally. We spend a lot of time in the garden during the spring and summer, where I grow a wide variety of organic fruit and veg and I'm a good cook, so it's all put to good use. I jump at opportunities to travel and love road trips or camping. I'm an avid documentary and occasional foreign film watcher. I thoroughly enjoy stand-up and sci-fi, also a fan of Sherlock, Doctor Who, Star Trek and a daily Democracy Now watcher. When it comes to politics liberal would be an understatement...I'm also not your girl. If I had to pick a favorite type of music it would be acoustic blues. I'm an insatiably curious person and I frequent the library almost as often as the garden.
