I refuse to believe that. I love it here. Although I'm very capable of enjoying all there is to offer here, on my own...It would be nice to share it with someone. I'm open to meeting all types of people. But, like everyone, I do have preferences. A sense of humour is a must. If you are witty and appreciate a brilliant pun, even better. I have a thing for smarta**es. If you can laugh at yourself, bonus points. I do it frequently. I'd really prefer someone taller than I am. I'm active, and I absolutely love trying new activities. That means, you should too. If you are vegan, I totally appreciate it. But, you have to spare me a lecture when I chow down on the occasional medium rare steak. It's good for my blood type ;)You have you be willing to indulge in conversation. The fun ones and the tough ones. I really think that being able to demonstrate emotion is a strength. I'm going to, so I hope that you will, as well. If you can't do the same, it's a bit of a deal breaker.I'd also prefer to meet someone with a healthy social life. That way, we can do our own thing or meld herds. My friends are very important to me and I'd hope that yours are to you. Mine are awesome. I can take most of them anywhere ;)You should know that, although financial security is as important to me as it is to you, I'm not materialistic. If you whip out your Prada wallet at dinner and continue to describe how in love you are with it's superior ability to contain your debit card, I may yawn. I know that there is a sense of pride that comes with being self sufficient. But, I don't really spend my time dreaming of accumulating " things ". I do prefer quality over quantity, but I'm not going to talk about it. And I may put my ear buds in if you start to. Can we talk about experiences and aspirations *** have to make each other tingle. Can't really put a finger on what induces my butterflies, but I think confidence is a big part of it. Not arrogance, however.Most of all, please be kind. To me, your friends, your waitress, animals, your parents, the homeless...Will I find you here? That, I'm not sure of. I have seen it work for others.     I am looking for a best friend to play with…now get your mind out of that gutter! Not to say I won’t want to be playful later but it’s not my main focus. I mean a best friend to go out and explore the world. I enjoy a lot of different sports, I don’t play as many as I use to but with the right partner we could have lots of fun. Activities I enjoy or would love to restart...golf, bowling, hitting a tennis ball around (would have to relearn "playing" tennis), skiing (I don't like to be cold so we would have to work that out ;), horse-I love shooting baskets, pool, I attempt to play darts, I am sure there are more but we can figure them out later.Activities I enjoy watching...Football- NFL, College sometimes, my man playing pretty much any sport, sometimes basketball and baseballI just finished my bowling season and may bowl during the summer. I bowled a ***this year and want to keep practicing at the very least so I can get my 300. I golf with my family and friends, and boy how the weather has been great for that lately. While I am still working I don’t stay too late, I love my job but you can burn out so I am very aware of the balance needed in life. I make sure I play or relax as much as I work. I love movies and have some specific television shows I like…yes, I am a TV addict! There is good news though…I’d rather go and do things than sit in front of a TV most of the time. Sometimes cuddling up and watching a good movie or show can make a perfect night. I love all kinds of movies, especially horror and action/thriller. I also continually read or listen to books. I am listening to two and reading one now... I’m a hard rock girl too but listen to just about any music. My family, friends, and my dog are very important to me and I love spending time with them. If you asked my friends and family how they would describe me they would say I am giving, kind, smart, fun, passionate, tenacious (slightly stubborn in a good way) and loyal. I love children and am very open to having a future with someone who already has children. I enjoy trying new things but I do have my favorite things I’m passionate about. I am most passionate about helping people and I am able to apply that in my job. I am a special education teacher, teaching the most wonderful and challenging students. My students are often medically impacted by their disability and my National Certification specialty is in the severe/profound area. My Masters is with a focus on Autism. I have been teaching for 15 years and I am blessed for I truly love my job! My faith is important to me, a positive energy I share though my actions. I attend church and it is a part of who I am. So....here is a peak into what I am looking for, what I enjoy, and where my passions run. I am looking forward to going out with you and seeing if we will have that spark. We will have fun. I don't have a perfect first date in mind, if that were the case I wouldn't be here. I love to be active and am often out walking around Capital Lake or golfing somewhere. If the weather doesn't permit then I may bowl or catch a movie. I for our first date we should do something along those lines.
