I cycled cross-country this summer, and I'm very much looking forward to next years trip. I do it for charity every year.#7: I love to laugh. I love to make other people laugh. Even our worst days really aren't that bad! Put me in a crowd of people that I don't know, and I'll make friends before too long. Gotta make that lemonade out of those lemons once in a while :-)#8: Last but not least, I love adventure. Rather it be getting on my bike for a ***mile cycling trip, or driving to some town I have never been to. I love to pack last minute and hit the road. I am someone who loves to open a bottle of wine with friends, with a possible game night on the agenda or going to see a live music show or maybe go out for some nice local brews. Friends and family are important to me. I'm a born and raised Vancouverite so I have a pretty solid network. I'm not the run off to whistler every weekend type, more the survive the rain and soak in the rays, gelato on the drive, live and breath the ocean air, mountain views type. This is my home. I have traveled a fair bit and experienced many different countries and cultures...Fingers crossed more to come.I like the idea of trying to make a difference in the world around us. Whether it is through helping friends or something on a more globally minded front...I try. On a less serious note I'm a big culture nerd. I love love love movies and music.; I have a variety of "likes" when it comes to entertainment.Reading is a big passion of mine. I love fiction with a smattering of mystery and autobiography. Recent books: anything and everything I'm a verbivore (The hunger games) .... my parents are librarians enough said.I have reached the point were I am ready to start a serious relationship. I myself work hard but think life is for enjoying so making time for the occasional weekend away or a night on the town is an important release. It would be great to enjoy this with a partner. Kids are something I very much want. Though I'm not rushing out to have a baby with just anyone, it's important for me to be with someone that shares this wish.Over all I am a easy going happy light hearted person I love my friends and am looking for someone to share/build a life with. Assuming we have already gotten to know each other....Something that involves some drinks, food and an activity. The Art gallery? Live music? Some alone time, some public time... I am originally from a small town here in ND. I love going to concerts and to plays. Hopefully I will meet someone that likes to go to concerts with me, but if a guy does not want to go to plays, that is ok, I know that most men are not into going to the theatre. i like to go to comedy shows when they are in town. I also like to play cards, darts, and pool (even though I really suck at pool). I like to go out, but not necessarily every weekend. I joke around alot and can be described as a sarcastic smart-ass. I am also very loyal and kind hearted.I am looking for someone who is honest. I want someone who is fun, yet responsible. Good manners are a must, especially table manners. I like a tall man...since I am 5'10", I prefer a man who is over 6'0". I love a man with strong arms, and my major turn-off is a man with bad teeth. I am not interested in anyone who is not local. Definately something where we can get to know eachother with low pressure. Movies and bowling are not good first dates because you really can't talk and get a feel for the person. Dinner or drinks work well.
