Like most girls, I enjoy feeling like a princess from time to time...that's not to say that I am one, but I can appreciate a well-mannered gentleman. Romance is great and definitely NOT overrated. I love the outdoors so BBQs, a bit of bouldering, hiking, camping, boating/sailing/jet skiing, sporting events, and reading a book at a sidewalk cafe are among my favorite activities.I am frequently known to take off for the weekend with my dog and just sleep under the stars. I love to travel and explore, so I always keep a tent, a blanket, and a flashlight in my car. Dating a guy who doesn't mind a spur of the moment adventure would be great, and if you don't mind getting a little dirty that's a plus.I'm not much into music artists but I do connect with a lot of songs. "Southern Cross" is a favorite, I don't care who sings it, lol. "American Girl" Foo Fighters and Metallica can always get me jumping, while Jimmy Buffett makes me crave palm trees, pina coladas, and relaxation. I have a passion for life and I love to be inspired. I'm a fan of how music makes me feel...not necessarily the artists who perform them. I spend a lot of free time volunteering with local youth soccer programs and coaching young players. I admitingly participate in the office fantasy football league every year and LOVE it. Perhaps slightly addicted to football, but I can warm up to basketball and baseball in the off season. Sports have always been a huge passion of mine, and I don't see that changing any time soon.It is common that I get wrapped up in work a bit too much. I take pride in working hard and being part of a team that can rely on me. It wouldn't be terrible to meet a guy with the same work ethic, but who knows how to relax and help me enjoy life's moments when they come. Is that you? Surprise me...but you'll have to tell me what attire to wear, otherwise I'm showing up in flip flops ;)

here goes, about me - I've been working long hours of late but thankfully have the weekends off. I find there usually isn't enough time in the day to do everything I want to do like jogging in the woods, casual dinners/drinks with friends, mountain biking, beach days, shopping for necessary things, although I usually take a food list to the grocery store and would be happy if i never had to enter another mall again...I am easy going, open-minded and not into drama.I love to be outside - lying in the sun or standing under a tree and listening to the rain on the leaves, sitting around a campfire or hiking/biking in the woods. I would travel more (something seriously lacking in my life) but road trips are great fun too. I'd rather get dirty than wear make-up, go barefoot over high-heels. I'm always learning new things about life and usually laugh at myself at least once a day. I tend to trust my *** cold fact, believe in spirituality mixed with science, and love good energy. I don't follow any organized religion but respect that everyone needs to believe what makes them feel good. I have 2 boys who are both growing on their own now and live elsewhere, so I only get to see them a few times a year.Not really sure what I'm looking for here. I guess people to laugh with, easy going and steady and fun to be around. People I want to spend enough time with to get past the awkward just meeting phase to the comfortable silence and say anything stage. The non materialistic type who like getting out of the city and into the woods on a regular basis. I'm not really looking for a serious relationship at this time. I usually find the harder you look, the more elusive it is anyways, and I'm in no hurry. That being said, I am looking for something a bit more meaningful than casual sex, so no booty calls please:)
