So here are my general thoughts on online dating. I see this as quite simply a way of meeting people that you might get along with (and possibly date) who you wouldn't have met otherwise. I'm not a big fan of the whole, let's do all the small talk online or over the phone - isn't that what first dates are supposed to be for? Plus then, at least if there is no connection you haven't already used up all the easy topics!
