About Me

I choose my shoes for comfort rather than fashion. I will wear blue jeans and t-shirts over skirts or dresses. I go through phases where I like to put on make-up, fix my hair, and get dressed up, but more often than not I prefer the route of "Plain Jane," unless of course I'm going out for a night on the town. I don't really care for shopping, though I have rare occasions where I actually enjoy it. I don't really want children (though someday - I'm told - that may change, so maybe it shall), and I don't give in to the 'typical' girls ideas of marriage. I really don't see the point of a piece of paper, and who says what 'typical' girls are anyway. I'm not what some would call a "girly girl," but I am still a woman.I enjoy football but I don't make it a point to watch every game every weekend. If I'm going to drink, I'll take beer over wine of liquor. I'm not big on cooking, but can throw-down in the kitchen if and when I feel like it. I try to eat healthy, so I prefer eating at home most of the time over eating out. If I eat out, it likely won't be fast food. I love my job... it's dirty and distusting and it intrigues me. I am passionate, dedicated, driven, indecisive (to a point), strong minded (maybe even stubborn at times), and as my sister says... I tell it like it is when it needs to be told.I love movies of all kinds, including the occasional "chick flick," but I prefer action, adventure, comedy, drama, horror, and even sci-fi. I'm not good at keeping up with dates, birthdays, or anneversaries, and am somewhat forgetful in general, but oddly I remember some of the wierdest things from ages ago. I'm not that great at keeping up with people/old friends, but I still hold them close to my heart. I don't care much for public display of affection, but still want attention, affection, and passion when I'm in a relationship. This is who I am and I would not change it. I've lived through lots of different and difficult experiences and would not change those either because it has made me the woman I am today.Please don't add me to your favorites. That's just creepy, especially if you don't have the balls to send me a message. Speaking of messages... "hi" won't cut it. I won't even respond to that. I'm a pretty upbeat person and don't associate with negative people.     I am currently a full time student and my studies occupy quite a bit of my time. If I had to describe online dating in one word it would be......wait for it.....douchepocalypse. I have never been married and I do not have kids. I tend to be very blunt, and am often misunderstood. Most people will say they want the truth and then get mad or run away when they get it. For me, I'm either completely honest or I shut down meaningful communication completely, I don't seem to have a happy medium. I also have a tendency to be difficult just to see how people are going to react. A person's reaction when they don't get their way can tell you a lot about a person. I also have a tendency to call people out on their crap, which people absolutely hate, and I have trouble with the whole notion of using kid gloves to deal with other adults. They're adults.I think it's stupid that people judge others so harshly for having the same issues we all have.I have a knack for injuring myself on a semi regular basis. I'm not accident prone, inanimate objects just like to pick on me.
