My friends say I am a very caring and honest person. I am looking for a partner with same qualities. Night out or a quiet evening at home can be fun if you are with a right person. Hope to have a family one day and enjoy simple things in life.

So here are my general thoughts on online dating. I see this as quite simply a way of meeting people that you might get along with (and possibly date) who you wouldn't have met otherwise. I'm not a big fan of the whole, let's do all the small talk online or over the phone - isn't that what first dates are supposed to be for? Plus then, at least if there is no connection you haven't already used up all the easy topics! I say, if we think we might have a connection, let's just meet, have a drink, and maybe see where things go. As Popeye would say, "I y'am what I y'am." I'm passionate about what I care about, empathetic, I try not to take myself or the world too seriously and I can easily laugh and myself and the ridiculous that is life sometimes, and I'm looking for someone who can as well. Overall, I'm looking for a guy who is witty, fun, and who could never be described as generic. I love intelligence without pretentiousnes and kindness with a sense of humor. Though it doesn't need to happen tomorrow, ultimately I am looking for a relationship and I'm looking for someone who wants the same. On a lighter note... "This guy goes to a psychiatrist and says, "Doc, my brother's crazy; he thinks he's a chicken." And the doctor says, "Well, why don't you turn him in?" The guy says, "I would, but I need the eggs." Well, I guess that's pretty much now how I feel about relationships; y'know, they're totally irrational, and crazy, and absurd, but, uh, I guess we keep goin' through it because most of us... need the eggs."-flicks in general...;.... Food: Sushi, Steak, Wine, Cheese, Bacon Other Stuff: Sociology, Fresh Flowers, Organization Stores (it's weird, I know), Flea Markets, Photography, Animals, Brunch Generally I like to meet somewhere for drinks and apps, if we like each other, we can continue to dinner, if not, we go our separate ways!

Hey there! If you want to know a little about me..... I am a very social person. I love spending time with my family and friends. I make friends easily. I am very independent. I have unusually traditional values for this day and age. I tend to be a little set in my ways.... but I also have a knack of being able to see things from every view and am incredibly understanding. Perhaps a bit too understanding at times. I am also honest to a fault. I hate arguing. I think things are open for discussion, not an argument. I believe if there is not a mutual trust, then there is not much point in being in relationship. I have expectations of mutual loyalty, respect and trust in any important relationships in my life - including friendships.I have been told I have a contagious smile. It is by far what I get the most compliments on. I love nature. My mother has been able to talk me into going on a couple trailrides and I have enjoyed them. I love country music - :) Being able to grill a mean medium rare steak that would go great with a glass of wine.... even better! I love children and hope to have my own one day. The people I like to hang out with are social and fun, but also enjoy an evening in of just being lazy and enjoying each others company. A man MUST be respectful and courteous. I don't really have a particular "type".... I prefer the type of "gentleman" that still opens the car door for their dates and know how to make a lady feel special - knowing that she will make you feel the same. I much prefer a country boy to a city boy. He also really must be a dog lover because my dogs are my family. I also am pretty involved in dog rescue and foster dogs from my local shelter to give them a better chance at finding their "forever home". It's heartwrenching to see them them go, but incredibly more rewarding..... to see them go. :)"I like a man who's good, but not too good--for the good die young, and I hate a dead one.” -Mae West*** don't respond to messages that are multiple sentences with no punctuation at all. They kind of drive me a little crazy. :/ Meeting for a couple drinks or dinner and see if there is a spark.
