I must begin by saying that I'm a full-time mom and a full-time college student. There's only space in my world for the worthy. Please do NOT waste time with false romanticism. Contrary to popular belief...not EVERY woman is looking to be rescued. While the notion of building a beautiful life with an amazing man is intriguing...I CAN, and HAVE been maintaining fabulously, ALL on my own. Raising my son to the best possible man he can be takes precedence over personal wants and desires. I'm an easy going person. The true definition of Libra. I enjoy life, even when it's bittersweet. The little, shiny fragments hiding in corners waiting to be found are exciting. It's all about the journey. My past has made me the beautiful and determined woman I am today. I'm a lover of music, often using the lyrics of a song when my own words fail to express how I'm feeling. I truly believe it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. Lord of the Rings...Best. Movie. Ever. Should you be able to quote at least 90% of The Princess Bride...well, that's just wonderful in itself. Oh, and I ADORE running my fingers through a man's hair. Should you be bald (voluntarily or otherwise) that's a deal breaker. Sorry. I know what I like. Please do not message me, otherwise. I'm searching for a local romance, one that does not begin with, "Hey, baby. You're sexy." Expressing your incredible love for redheads will also get you NO where, fast!!! The admiration is fickle and unwarranted. Be creative and sincere, or else you're a vampire of my precious time. A lunch/dinner date and great conversation are ideal. I greatly appreciate coffee shops! First impressions are EVERYTHING! I believe within an hour of meeting a person sets the tone for whether or not I see them, again. I also enjoy having breakfast, at any hour of the day; however, I do not cook. Gentlemen, of course I know my way around a kitchen. The operative words to my prior statement are that I DO NOT. Lol. My above described concepts are in no way a prerequisite for what a first date must be with me. I'm certainly open to suggestions; however, a man who incessantly talks about his ex during our date will quickly find himself alone for the evening. I happen to already possess my own shadow. Under NO circumstances will I have rivalry with another!!!

How do I make myself sound super appealing in a short essay form? How much of this are you really going to read? Well if you've gotten this far, this is me: very patient, open minded, a really good listener and easy going but have been told I can be pretty goofy. I love my job wholeheartedly and wouldn't change it for the world. Teaching is a passion of mine but my other passion lies with animals..mainly dogs. Love to listen to live music, kick back and enjoy a martini. When the season comes around, watching football on Sundays is a definite. Sometimes I am in the mood to move around so I try to hit the gym, yoga (nothing too crazy although I've done hot yoga before and what an experience!), hike or play some beach volleyball in the summer. Anything else you want to know, just ask :)I'm not into guys whose only pictures are of them in the gym, liars, ones who are just looking for something causal and want to play the field, and sorry no smokers =/I'm definitely willing to meet a guy who is honest (well mostly honest. No one is 100% honest "Yeah those shoes look great!" ), looking for something serious, can communicate, has a fairly active lifestyle, settled in his career, and a good sense of humor. I love a guy who can make me laugh!! A good first date has to be good conversation and good laughs. It doesn't matter where we go or what we end up doing. Sometimes unconventional can be that much more fun!
