My hobbies are all over the place, but it keeps me moving and fun! I love to hike, camp, explore caves, travel, play sports, and watch movies. Someone who’s about something. Attraction is important.

How do I make myself sound super appealing in a short essay form? How much of this are you really going to read? Well if you've gotten this far, this is me: very patient, open minded, a really good listener and easy going but have been told I can be pretty goofy. I love my job wholeheartedly and wouldn't change it for the world. Teaching is a passion of mine but my other passion lies with animals..mainly dogs. Love to listen to live music, kick back and enjoy a martini. When the season comes around, watching football on Sundays is a definite. Sometimes I am in the mood to move around so I try to hit the gym, yoga (nothing too crazy although I've done hot yoga before and what an experience!), hike or play some beach volleyball in the summer. Anything else you want to know, just ask :)I'm not into guys whose only pictures are of them in the gym, liars, ones who are just looking for something causal and want to play the field, and sorry no smokers =/I'm definitely willing to meet a guy who is honest (well mostly honest. No one is 100% honest "Yeah those shoes look great!" ), looking for something serious, can communicate, has a fairly active lifestyle, settled in his career, and a good sense of humor. I love a guy who can make me laugh!! A good first date has to be good conversation and good laughs. It doesn't matter where we go or what we end up doing. Sometimes unconventional can be that much more fun!

Yes: sitting in a beach chair in the surf to watch the sunset, a fridge full of fresh fruit and veggies, raiding the flea markets and junk stores for something perfect for a friend's birthday, making folk art that leaves my living room a huge mess for three days but a smile on my face for weeks, reading a novel in an airport on my way to somewhere I have never been, living on a budget now to afford world travel later, building a unique piece of furniture or decor because I can, living a life about 'the things I have done' not the 'things I own', cooking dinner together, debating the merits of the 80s brat pack movies vs a superhero collection and then deciding to watch Monty Python ***, making time to explore the city around me and discover its secrets, road tripping to see every state park, making quality friends through common interests *** going out just to go out.No: Okra so assuming we survive the "let's meet for coffee to prove to each other that we probably aren't serial killers"... the first date is a chance to impress each other with how fun dating is going to be. Since I love to try new things- Visit NASA? Try Bosnian food? Is there a circus in town? Go to a machine gun range? Even the local Applebees can be an adventure, when the company is good.
