Hi, I'll try to make this brief yet as insightful as possible !In a nutshell I'd describe myself as very sociable , chatty, good fun , philosophical, loyal and intelligent. I'm good company.... I think !! I like to go out most weekends .. eating , drinking , going to gigs , shows etc ! I love weekends away although unfort we don't seem to do them as much anymore ...finances limiting i think ! Feel a bit nerdy writing a personal ad!!!! Looking to meet someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously and that I can have a bit of banter with. I have a good sense of humour and I'm fairly cheeky.There are many things that I enjoy doing, chief of those is spending time with the people that I care most about, my family and friends. I'm not into materialistic things......I value what's important. I like being outside and going for walks, Glendalough is one of my favourite places to go for a stroll with Portmarnock beach coming a close second.I like films and visits to the cinema but I'm not a***y about it! ;) My favourite film of all time is The Shawshank Redemption because I like the hopeful ending.....I'm an eternal optimist.I like old school board games and can be a bit too competitive at times, I make no apologies for it, that's just the way it is.My favourite book is Pride and Prejudice and while I know that's extremely cheesy I can't help it.....I love my job and feel that at times I am cheating "the man" and it allows me to travel during the summer which is another passion of mine, India was probably the worst and best place I've been so far....anything that I can dance to...I dislike jazz alot! Not so easy to sit down and talk about yourself but will try and give this a go. Enjoy a good ole night out with friends but Coppers is definitely somewhere you won't find me in (once was enough). Not my kind of scene, you're more likely to find me in the Library Bar or some oldie pub.Love my nights in vegging on the couch especially at this time of year. Nothing nicer than snuggling up in front of a roaring log fire with a glass of vino.My music taste is quite varied, ..but I suppose my favourites would be Eric Clapton, Brian Ferry, Depeche Mode, The Boss. Have a bit of an obsession with Jake Bugg at the moment so trying to listen to other stuff. Loving Spotify....have discovered some great artists on there. What else can I say.......biggest thing I suppose I've done,apart from going back to uni at 30, was shave my head for Shave or Dye on Today FM 2 years ago for a friend. Did take awhile to get used to being a baldy ( couldn't cope with the cold) but raised so much money through the my charity page that it was worth losing all my blondie locks. If any of my best friends were to describe me they would probably say easy going, loves to laugh and have a good time mixed in with a little bit of cheeky. I try not to take any of the bad stuff that comes my way in life too seriously....figure it could always be worse. Anyway won't ramble on anymore, will save that for another day.
