About Me

So, I've dated the total opposite of me and then I've dated those with similar interests. A few things remain the same - I'm looking for someone with the following characteristics: sense of humor, respectful, trusting, loyal, honest, kind, compassionate, hard working, easy going, intelligent, and has a positive outlook on life. Some of these are characteristics/morals/values that you get to in due time, but that's what I look for in someone.After viewing some of these profiles, I'm kind of impressed. Lol. Straight off, my life is definitely not like that. I'm just a normal girl looking for a normal guy. I work full time, volunteer for certain causes and involved with other activities outside of the home/office. What I can promise is loyalty, friendship, an ear to listen, and support.I love sports (GO STEELERS!), love reading, lounging around in a t-shirt and sweats while watching a movie on the couch, cooking, and usually make it to mass once a week. My faith is very important and a big part of my life. I can hold an intelligent conversation on just about any topic (news junkie) , dress up one night and the next day be just as comfortable in the great outdoors- whether going to a pumpkin patch, fishing or wine tasting. I have a son(almost 7) whom I raise him completely on my own. I say these things not to intimidate anyone, rather to show I already have a great life, am independent and happy - I'm just looking to find that person who would be a perfect fit ***that will compliment and enhance life, not take away from it. I'm looking for that friend who will also be my partner. I have no time for games, nor do I play them.     Well, what to say about me...it’s somehow hard to speak about yourself in a few words.. :) HmmmmmmmI like healthy lifestyle (sports, yoga, healthy eating), my great passion is travelling -I crossed all Central and South America, I also visited some parts of Asia, which was the most rewarding experience and the best decision ever made, I have also been everywhere in Europe and I'm attached the the old continent... I really believe that travelling expands your horizons in some way. I enjoy learning foreign languages which helps me so much while I'm abroad (I speak Spanish, French,Polish,German, Italian, currently studying Brazilian Portuguese), I am open to new cultures and all sorts of experiences…Besides, I enjoy being active-absolutely love outdoor activities but chilling out at home with a glass of wine and some aperitivo is really nice & relaxing too...I like going dancing, trying good restaurants... I am a wine-lover and I adore tasting and appreciating new kind of foods ( Mediterranean and Asian cuisine are my favorite ones as of yet),listening to every type of good music (I love particularly the piano sound and Chopin is undoubtedly my favorite artist from classical tunes but jazz or rock can be also very inspiring ).I enjoy meeting new people, making new friends and I am somehow attracted to TALL charming and intelligent gentlemen who know how to look after a lady by their side…I would very appreciate if they could also share some of my interests...There are many other things that I can add about my 'likes' but it would be too boring to continue.. feel free to ask if you are curious...:) anything as drinks or a nice restaurant or walk on the beach is good but I wouldn't mid something completely spontaneous and unconventional as adventure park or even skydiving :) hahaha...

    I enjoy volunteering and working with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) where we raise money for blood cancer research and patients. I volunteer with the Team in Training part of LLS which also trains for endurance events while we raise money and awareness.; I've also done several events on my own. I enjoy running and being part of an amazing team that works toward a great cause. We have a motto, we don't stop until we find a cure. I'm a pretty persistent person and don't like to give up on the things and the people that I care about in life.
