Hey! So I've been separated for about a year, soon to be divorced. I have no children and feel fortunate that this closing chapter has remained civil throughout. I'm pretty spontaneous and I'm looking for good people to do fun things with. I like to just go with the flow and if there's a new adventure in front of me I usually dive right in. I joke around a lot and I'm also pretty sarcastic. I'm shy around people I don't know at first but once I feel comfortable I'm a goofball.On a typical night you can see me going to see a band or packing a bag to go surf fishing at dawn. If something sounds fun, different, and full of ridiculousness, I'm down. I'm not on here to jump into a relationship or a bed. I think it's important to build strong foundations for any relationship in your life and then see where it takes you. I'm a firm believer that there are no shortcuts in life and that anything that comes easy goes even quicker. So is respect.Also, when you don't have a picture (This is for arguments sake and has nothing to do with shallowness) personally, I think it means the following:1. Dude, you're hiding something.2. You're married with 4 kids3. You have a girlfriend and want a side piece4. You're not who you say you are5. We could even go on a Weird NJ excursion. Paintballing is always an option too.I like a guy who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Someone who I can actually have a conversation with that doesn't look like a deer in headlights. I'm not saying that I'm some intellectual on a pedestal. Just please have some common sense, courtesy, compassion, humor, humility, and happiness. I don't think that's asking too much. Also, I can appreciate the fact that some people can grow a set behind a keyboard.... but for the love of god stop sending inappropriate messages. What I'm always wondering is if women ever respond to those messages, because I automatically block you.

I typically prefer watching sports over actually playing (although I do play golf and kickball), but I enjoy getting outdoors and being active. I would also hope that he could introduce me to new things that interest him. Somewhere where we can talk and really get to know each other, even if it is just over a cup of coffee.
