Hi! So a little about me... well, I just recently moved back to TX from SC which is where I'm from. I love being on the east coast with all the beauty that surrounds it! One of the hardest things- at least for me- is talking about myself- but I'll give it my best. I am a huge sports fan. I love baseball and football, play tennis and worked for NASCAR before I decided to become a teacher. Working for NASCAR certainly was an experience, but it is nothing compared to the joy I get being a teacher. My friends joke that I never get out of teacher mode as when I am with my nephews I always try to find a teaching moment. For me, I don't mind being the cool aunt who loves to play outside but will also sit and read a book with them. Some people call themselves homebodies or " people on the go." I am a mixture of both depending on the day. There are days I want to get up and go- be it outside on a boat, taking a road trip or heading down the beach. Other days I am content with curling up with my dog on the couch to watch a movie, reading a book or listening to music.I am a mixed bag when it comes to both music and movies. My chick flicks sit next to my action movies and I have everything from Eminem to classical on my iPod. I love to read and am a bit of a nerd- yes I watch jeopardy! I am a bit of a hopeless romantic- I do wonder if the guys that open doors and actually are gentlemen still exist. I may be a bit of a tom boy when it comes to sports but at the same time i have my girlie moments- and being a hopeless romantic is one of those!
