About Me

I moved to DC four years ago to get my master's in education policy. I fell in love with this area, and after graduation began looking for a career. I am currently the assistant principal of a preschool. Early childhood education is definitely a passion of mine and every day I try to make my school the best it can be! I grew up in Northwestern Pa and am from a fairly large family. I like to think that coming from such a large family has given me a good head on my shoulders. I have made a close group of friends here and enjoy exploring different aspects of the city with them. We enjoy trying new restaurants/bars, going to Nats/Caps games, attempting DC sports leagues, museums, dinner parties, and rooftop pools! Dinner? Drinks?     I work at an elementary as an assistant Pre-K teacher. I love kids, and hope one day to have a few. When I am not teaching I am usually doing photography. I went to Rwanda, Africa this past July for a mission trip. It was life changing for me. Can't wait to see what more amazing places God wants to show me.
