I'm a librarian, but I'm also outgoing, fun, spontaneous when you least expect it, socially active, and have a overall positive outlook on life. I very rarely wear cardigans but do wear blazers and suit jackets regularly at work, am pretty outgoing (though sometimes soft spoken unintentionally), love concerts and seriously rocking out to good music, can drink most of my librarian friends under the table, most of the shoes I own are not "practical", I'm busy most week day evenings between social and professional activities, lived in St. I do not know how to knit or crochet, I don't wear glasses (anymore - laser eye surgery about 5 years ago), and I never shush people; I'm probably the loudest person in our little library. I'm also pretty darned technology proficient, though this is becoming more common for librarians. Yes, I do have a cat and love to read. I'll give you that!I'm here because: I'm looking for someone who enjoys great conversations and debates, is supportive of a hard working and career driven woman, is confident and responsible, and has both personal and professional goals for himself. I'm also looking for someone who strives for a balanced life between work, personal time, and time with family and friends. So a little about me, I'm quiet at first and then I will open up, I like to ask a lot of questions and find out the why something is the way it is. this seems like I'm nosey but I'm just trying to get the whole picture. I also happen to be very sarcasic and will try to make you laugh. I think that to really get to know someone is through their sense of humor. I'm very protective of my friends and family. I don't have a lot of friends but the ones I have, have been around for a long time. I think its better to have a few good people around that I trust, then a lot of people that I really don't know well. I've completed 3 half-marathons(not very quickly though) and plan on running my forth sometime this year. I enjoy challenges and making myself better. I like to read and really learn about other eras. I like to see how things in the past can still affect today(this makes me a history geek), but I'd rather go to a muesem or event then sit home and read about it. I have done some crazy things, I've gone skydiving, and will get on any rollercoaster I can. I like to explore and try new things, I will almost always accept a challenge and will play to win. I'm looking for someone who has strong opinions but is open to others, who doesn't mind trying something new and has a sense of humor, but the most important thing is I want to be with someone honest. I don't want perfection that would make things boring, just someone who is basically good. I look foward to meeting you soon!
