I'm a librarian, but I'm also outgoing, fun, spontaneous when you least expect it, socially active, and have a overall positive outlook on life. I'm also usually the person who makes a fool of themselves in a room of quiet people that don't know each other well to break the ice. I very rarely wear cardigans but do wear blazers and suit jackets regularly at work, am pretty outgoing (though sometimes soft spoken unintentionally), love concerts and seriously rocking out to good music, can drink most of my librarian friends under the table, most of the shoes I own are not "practical", I'm busy most week day evenings between social and professional activities, lived in St. I do not know how to knit or crochet, I don't wear glasses (anymore - laser eye surgery about 5 years ago), and I never shush people; I'm probably the loudest person in our little library. I'm also pretty darned technology proficient, though this is becoming more common for librarians. Yes, I do have a cat and love to read. I'll give you that!I'm here because: I'm looking for someone who enjoys great conversations and debates, is supportive of a hard working and career driven woman, is confident and responsible, and has both personal and professional goals for himself. I'm also looking for someone who strives for a balanced life between work, personal time, and time with family and friends. I never know what to write here. (And I know a lot of people say the same thing :), it's not easy trying to sell yourself!) So, let's see... I love travelling and the outdoors. I try to spend every minute of a warm, sunny day outside hiking, riding my bike, swimming, and exploring new parks, towns, places of interest. In winter, I love putting on warm clothes and going for a walk. When indoors, I love to cook, watch movies (I'm a huge film buff!), read and (re)organize my house :). I try to find time to hang out with my friends at least twice a week as I believe that keeping friendships strong and lasting is the recipe to one's happiness. I have a positive outlook on life and really do enjoy the little things it has to offer. While I like movies, I would never go to see one on a first date! (I'm shocked to find out that people my age still do that.) Dinner/drinks is nice some place where we could talk and get to know each other. So is just grabbing a coffee and going for a walk.
