About Me

I worked for 5 years in the art department as a set decorator for television and film. About a year ago, I got really burnt out and decided to make some changes. I took a break from the film industry and realized this wasnt my passion. My priorities were all out of wack and realized i didnt want to work in film anymore. Since then ive been enjoying myself, my family and my friends. I've been freelancing for several different companies, taking a few classes and working at a organic juicery. I have a passion for cooking. I make the best sandwiches : ) I would like to move towards the health food industry.I like to keep busy, filling my days off with hiking, long walks with Maya my dog, listening to music, hanging with good friends and family. I enjoy having people over for dinners and just lazy days. I would like to meet someone i can share adventures with, my partner in crime, easy conversations and good times.     I try to be down to earth and honest with people. I smile and laugh as much as possible (when appropriate). I tend to put others first and don't have too many moments of selfishness. Often get told I'm very cheerful, friendly, caring, and a weird hybrid of nerd, geek and outdoorsy. Friends joke that I'm one of the guys and drama free (because drama annoys me and I tend not to associate myself with it!)These days I've been trying to be more adventurous and doing more physical activities to get fitter and healthier (not quite there but greatly improved from before). I study Shorinji-kan Jiu-Jitsu so you may see me bruised up a lot from it. Recently tried Parkour for the first time, would love to learn to do that better. Pretty good at baking, cooking not so much. I would prefer to date someone for a while and then down the road figure out if there's long term potential. Organic development is always the best way. Really prefer to avoid the cliche's like dinner or movies, but I'm not opposed to these. I would mainly avoid movies for a first date because you really can't talk to each other. A little creativity is always appreciated.
