I'm just looking for interesting new people to hang out with, ideally I would like a long-term relationship at some point, but find it's best to be friends first anyway, so we'll just stick to that.I love music, mostly hip hop, trip hop, and alternative (Portishead, Massive Attack, Mos Def, Kid Cudi, Shwayze, Common, Lupe Fiasco, Wale, Kanye, Dirt Nasty, Atmosphere, Tool= a few favorites), but I will watch any type of music live because I love the energy (except country. Just not my thing. I like the lakes and forests up here but am not much of the hiking/camping type....only in small amounts. :) I do like going on road trips and things like that, though.     I try to be down to earth and honest with people. I smile and laugh as much as possible (when appropriate). I tend to put others first and don't have too many moments of selfishness. Often get told I'm very cheerful, friendly, caring, and a weird hybrid of nerd, geek and outdoorsy. Friends joke that I'm one of the guys and drama free (because drama annoys me and I tend not to associate myself with it!)These days I've been trying to be more adventurous and doing more physical activities to get fitter and healthier (not quite there but greatly improved from before). I study Shorinji-kan Jiu-Jitsu so you may see me bruised up a lot from it. Recently tried Parkour for the first time, would love to learn to do that better. Pretty good at baking, cooking not so much. I would prefer to date someone for a while and then down the road figure out if there's long term potential. Organic development is always the best way. Really prefer to avoid the cliche's like dinner or movies, but I'm not opposed to these. I would mainly avoid movies for a first date because you really can't talk to each other. A little creativity is always appreciated.
