I have nothing to lose, but so much to gain.I've endured some bumps & bruises in this thing called life but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else & I am beyond ready to find love!!!I'm very picky so if you can catch my eye you're doing really well! Then I need someone that's easy to talk to cause I'm all about being myself. I workout 5 to 6 times a week. I love everything about working out! The way I look, the way I feel mentally & physically. I'm most definitely looking for a partner that is physically fit & eats healthy. I work hard to look good & I do I want someone that's going to do the same. I don't drink anymore, that part of my life is over. I had a ton of fun partying & I did plenty of it but there's a lot more important things to me in life than drinking. Let's just say "It was fun while it lasted, but now I'm past it." I'm a bit of a tomboy. I love being outdoors. I also love dressing up in dresses & going to nice restaurants.I'm looking for a mate that is over the bar scene is looking to settle down, travel, have fun, likes to laugh & makes me laugh. I most definitely want kids. Sorry guys if you have kids I'm not interested. I'm all about having my own & I can't wait to have kids but I'm not willing to have a kid with just anybody. I don't want to compete with anyone for your attention & I definitely don't want to deal with any momma drama. With that being said I'm very upfront & I don't play games I know what I want & I want someone that is ready to be honest & loyal. If you're looking for A$$. You can keep looking, elsewhere. You need to be able to stimulate my mind before you try stimulating anything else. I'm looking for someone that is really wanting a relationship. I get everyone is busy & that's why you've turned to a dating site but when you really like someone you make time for them no matter what. I'm looking for someone that is going to make time for me, no matter how busy they just might be. A relationship is a lot of work so if you're ready to put in the time & commitment for me, I'll definitely make sure it's worth it. :-) I'm old school. So I'm not looking to be your e-mail buddy. Let's e-mail a few times on here if your someone that interests me. Let's exchange numbers & talk on the phone. I'm trying to get to know you & people can misconstrue things over text, so I'd rather talk to you. Chat with you soon. If I don't respond to your message it's my nice way of saying I'm not interested. On the first date keep it simple. I would like to go for coffee, ice cream or something quick to see if we hit it off. If we hit it off then we can setup another date or move on. I do like to go to sporting events, horse races, bowling, to the gun range or amusement parks, I do love surprises, so if you want to surprise me I'm up for that too. I like to be where the excitement & fun is cause I'm fun! It's great to go to dinner but I like taking the nervousness out of things.

The best relationships begin as friendships. Since I was a young girl I have been writing. I do freelance writing and editing and am working on creating my own business, thinking about a nonprofit. I really enjoy helping people who need it.Writing this is really tough, gentlemen, so patience here would be a positive thing. Cliche is not for me, so I'm not going to do that here in an introduction of myself. I could say "I love romantic walks on the beach at dusk, feeling the gentle waves tickling our toes", but hasn't that kind of thing been used to death? I absolutely love the beach though. I find it much better to get to know someone person to person. However, I have not been in the "dark...or sunny" dating world for quite awhile, so I do want to get to know someone slowly - some ***, then talking on the phone, and then when our parents say it's okay, a first meeting.I like a man with a great sense of humor, but dislike sarcasm. I value humor (yes, again), integrity, honor, honesty and kindness in a man. Those who know me would say that I am sweet (for some reason - yuck), honest, very kind, funny, and empathetic. Beyond that, I say that I enjoy laughter in life, really, really good talks, listening to the person I am with, a good book...and more if I didn't think this was long enough already. I do want to say, also, that I believe in the "Golden Rule" in life. And I'm not into playing games. They are foolish and a waste of time. I also believe in not trying to change someone, nor do I want to be changed. This is just a beginning of learning who I am so if you would like to get to know me a little better and to introduce yourself, please do so. ***, but if you choose to, please write enough for me to respond to. "Players" please do not respond. Again, too cliche. A simple, relaxing, good dinner in a quiet place with great ambience is appropriate and just fine for a second date. A first date at a coffee shop is good. Nothing too long or serious in case either of us doesn't fit with the other. Reduces the pressure don't you think?
