Don't like drama. Love to laugh, enjoy good conversation, friends, good joke, arts, books, travel, good food (will try anything as far it is not overcooked, can be raw, and despite my small frame and femininity can enjoy a good steak once in a wile). If you can cook or at least help me to cook it's a plus :). Have wide variety of interests, very good sense of humor, never boring. Can be very active but also enjoy quiet moments. Can really listen to other people without imposing my own opinion. Appreciate all good things in life and cherish every good moment. The way you see me on the pictures - it is the way I look every single day all my live (minus evening dresses and Halloween costume), can wear jeans if I really have to, but like to dress up (don't worry - I am not full of myself, some times can call myself an idiot but not going to allow anybody else to do so :) ). Really enjoy being a WOMAN. Very feminine but not uptight. Despite being in committed relationship for about 30 years, I'd used to be one women among guys (practicing surgery - it is mostly man's profession, sometimes very cynical), so I get guy's jokes and sense of humor. I am not prissy at all and you don't have to find "special woman subjects" in conversations. I can discuss fashion and shopping with my girlfriends if it is boring for you. I treasure commitment, intimacy, sharing, mutual respect and trust. Don't like to play games. The life has to be enjoyable for both sides, and I really believe in reciprocation. You are good to me, I definitely will be good to you. Soul-mates, partners in life. Both have to be genuinely interested in each other and try to make each other happy - reciprocation is a key word and it has to come from the heart...Have to be intellectually equal (I am not even talking about education - a person can be educated and have no intellect, but still - I do have 2 dr's degrees), otherwise - it doesn't work, no matter how hard and how long you'll try to make it work - eventually it will fall apart.- no initial, even very strong chemistry will work - it WILL fade away....I am looking for a "mensch" in my life, why also can make me smile and be my best friend.Also - I am a great believer in chemistry, so if I don't see your face, your eyes and your smile (AKA - NO PICTURE***I can not talk to you or you just can be married :). I am really tired of accusations in superficiality because I am refusing to communicate with people without pictures. I understand that the human soul is the most important thing, but in the same time I am absolutely sure that no sane man would contact me if I wouldn't have pictures posted, so please, let's level the playing field. Women are humans too. If you are a busy professional and have a life - it's as inconvenient for you as it is for me, sorry...Because I was raised as a Woman, I feel kind of strange contacting a man first - it's just my "thing", the rest of me is normal - lol-(if I checked your profile, it might be because I'd liked what I'd seen), so if you like my profile - make a move first, please, just a couple of your own words. I promise - I not going to be nasty... And if I am not answering - please don't hold a grudge against me. You can be the nicest person in the world for somebody else, but we all looking for somebody to light our fire, if it doesn't feel like it- it's just not happening, but some times worth to try, you never now. No harm done...PS. I am looking for my male counterpart and as you can see - I am taking care of myself. I expect the same from the man. When you look like a "schlepper" even on the first date - it's a turn off. It's not because I am shallow and can't see the man's soul behind the disheveled appearance. My first language is Russian, I am fluent in English and very Americanized, long time in the country, but common culture and upbringing is very important to really click, soo... if you speak Russian - it's a big plus Nice and quiet, have to talk, let chemistry do the trick...
