About Me

The best relationships begin as friendships. Since I was a young girl I have been writing. I do freelance writing and editing and am working on creating my own business, thinking about a nonprofit. I really enjoy helping people who need it.Writing this is really tough, gentlemen, so patience here would be a positive thing. Cliche is not for me, so I'm not going to do that here in an introduction of myself. I could say "I love romantic walks on the beach at dusk, feeling the gentle waves tickling our toes", but hasn't that kind of thing been used to death? I absolutely love the beach though. I find it much better to get to know someone person to person. However, I have not been in the "dark...or sunny" dating world for quite awhile, so I do want to get to know someone slowly - some ***, then talking on the phone, and then when our parents say it's okay, a first meeting.I like a man with a great sense of humor, but dislike sarcasm. I value humor (yes, again), integrity, honor, honesty and kindness in a man. Those who know me would say that I am sweet (for some reason - yuck), honest, very kind, funny, and empathetic. Beyond that, I say that I enjoy laughter in life, really, really good talks, listening to the person I am with, a good book...and more if I didn't think this was long enough already. I do want to say, also, that I believe in the "Golden Rule" in life. And I'm not into playing games. They are foolish and a waste of time. I also believe in not trying to change someone, nor do I want to be changed. This is just a beginning of learning who I am so if you would like to get to know me a little better and to introduce yourself, please do so. ***, but if you choose to, please write enough for me to respond to. "Players" please do not respond. Again, too cliche. A simple, relaxing, good dinner in a quiet place with great ambience is appropriate and just fine for a second date. A first date at a coffee shop is good. Nothing too long or serious in case either of us doesn't fit with the other. Reduces the pressure don't you think?

The date should be middle of the road, nice but not to stuffy :)
