I like to think I'm a good listener or at least I try very hard to be. I like to read body language. I also try very hard not to judge because it will only come back to me in form of bad karma or close me off to the possibility of knowing someone deeply. But just the same, thank you all for feeling the need to reassure me that my nose is ok......very thoughtful. I like men who are assertive and comfortable in their own skin. It's hard to write what I think is an ideal first date because I like things to be spontaneous....what can be written about that.....takes the surprise out don't you think? I would rather go for something simple to decide if we click....then let loose whatever makes life flow.

I am a 53 year old women with a few extra pounds, who has recently come out of a long term relationship. Being very new to the dating scene after so many years, is not where I pictured myself to be. Putting one foot in front of the other and hoping that I don't fall over.I love spending time with my family and friends and laughing over a good meal and some drinks. I like talking walks, walks not marathons. I camp in the summer and hibernate in the winter. (I hate being cold). My 15 year old daughter keeps me quite busy with hockey in the winter and baseball in the summer. I like a man with substance, I am a curvy gal who likes something to hold on to. If you are looking for a trophy gal, then keep looking. I might add that maybe you should reevaluate your expectations and take a good look in the mirror as you may not be a trophy guy! I know this is shallow, but if you don't have a picture...sorry, after all lets be fair!
