About Me

Hi.What am I looking for? ....my best friend. Ultimately I am looking for long term, however it takes time to get to know someone and I am in no rush to jump into a serious relationship. I want to take time to get to know someone, so I am only looking for friendship right now, Friendship is the foundation of any good relationship (my opinion) (and NOT friends with benefits, if thats what you are looking for you won't find it here lol). Not looking to date a bunch of different men. Just looking for one.I am happy and content with my life. I have a great life, it would be nice to find a partner to share it with. A country girl at heart,( maybe a bit of a redneck lol***don't mind the city on occasion) but I prefer the courtry/farm type life.I have my own business and work hard and sometimes long hours, however I do know how to relax and enjoy life as well. I don't usually work weekends.I am financially stable, not rich, have learned to live within my means and I am content with what I have. I can take care of myself. Not looking to be rescued...unless it is from this dating site! lolI'm upbeat most of the time, don't sweat the small stuff. love to laugh and enjoy the life I 've been given but of course can be serious when needed. Enjoy the simple things in life,(not materialistic at all) There is nothing wrong with having things it's just not my focus in life. I have a great sense of humor, don't sweat the small stuff and I truly appreciate every day.Have two boys, one working and one going to college next year.I have been on my own for awhile now . Concentrated my time on raising my boys. I needed to be ok on my own before getting into another relationship. I have learned many valuable lessons during this time. A few being, my value/self worth does not come from another person and my happiness is my own choice. "Dont put the key to your happiness in someone elses pocket, keep it in your own"Also while I am very family oriented and my kids are a big part of my life I think it is important for couples to spend time together alone.!. I'm not exactly the barbie doll type but have been told I clean up nicely, Most comfortable in my jeans and boots but have been known to wear heels. Have the pics to prove it (just not going to put them online lol.)Enjoy motorcycles (passenger only) so it sure wouldn't hurt if you have a motorcycle lol (just kidding it doesn't really matter and it doesnt have to be a harley either!) lolI am a fairly active person, I horseback ride alot ( have two horses of my own) take a belly dance class once a week to have some fun and stay active. Also enjoy a quiet night at home. Don't watch alot of tv, no couch potato here, although I do enjoy a good movie, especially cuddled up with the right person. Like all kinds of music, mostly country, like christian, the blues and 50's, can't stand rap. Love to dance. Would like to take ballroom dance lessons,,,,,,just need a partner!Forgiveness, honesty, trust, romance/affection, integrity, and a SENSE OF HUMOR,are important to me in a relationship. I have zero tolerance for liars. Just tell the truth because sooner or later it will come out ("Truth and time walk hand in hand") and once trust is broken there is nothing left to build a relationship on. Whatever that relationship turns out to be friendship or something more.I am a Christian and I do attend church. I believe and have a faith in God. I'm NOT religious. My faith is a personal choice and I would never preach to or push my beliefs on anyone. However I do have a set of values that I live by and am not willing to compromise them, which can be quite difficult at times in this day and age. Most people tend to judge Christianity (possibly because of a bad experience in the past) before they actually take the time to find out what it really means to be a Christian.( I was one of those people). Anyone can "say" they are a Chrisitan. My pastor once explained it like this. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian anymore than standing in your garage makes you a car"Not really a big a fan of on line dating, I would much rather meet someone the old fashioned way,,,,,in person.... There is so much more to a person than what can be typed in a few paragraphs and some pictures.... and some people are very quick to judge others without getting to know them first.....but this seems to be the way to meet people nowdays. Not really comfortable contacting men on line so chances of me contacting you first are slim. Sorry but that is the way I was raised. Think I am too old fashioned for this kind of stuff lol...but I will try.Not into endless *** on the phone for weeks, would rather meet in person.Not sure how much longer I will stay on this site.....seems to be alot of players......on the other hand I know of several people who have met on this site and have great relationships now.....guess you just never now what will happen til you try.Good luck in your search

    This really is all about me, isn't it? ok...here's my take on my personality for what it's worth. I'm an easy-going woman who enjoys hanging out with family and friends.
