I come from a great family, which is hugely *** the person I am today. I went on a horrible first date once: the guy had no money so I had no choice but to pay for HIS meal, he didn't want to sit at a table so we stood at the bar, he ordered an appetizer (after telling me he had no way to pay), told me his crazy ex-girlfriend was living next door and could potentially be a "serious" problem, double dipped in our shared appetizer, chewed with his mouth open, told me he failed his drug test for work the day before, and then had the audacity to try and kiss me goodnight?! As long as our first date is NOTHING like that, I think we're good.
