About Me

A fairly new resident of this beautiful town. I am wondering where all the young people are?! Moving here has opened so many fun and interesting doors for me. A typical week for me usually has a combination of a couple of mountain bike rides, checking out some local live musical treats and lots of cooking. I make a pretty big effort to recycle, support locally own businesses and generally show respect to the environment. Although I have a junker car, I choose to ride my junker bike to work (all 3kms!).But I am no preacher! I don't have a TV but I enjoy watching some shows on Netflix once in a while. Books seem to hit the spot a little more accurately of an evening.My family are a big source of joy for me. I travel back there about twice a year to collect up some hugs and make sure they are behaving (!)My work life is productive. I am in a position where I get to support people through challenging times, a constant reminder of how I should never take my health and happiness for granted.I am fairly in tune with what makes me happy/frustrated. I suppose I would be more of an introvert than an extrovert but I certainly know how to be assertive and communicate my feelings. I also don't baulk at being the first one on the dancefloor when there is live music in front of me ;)Looking to meet someone to share the fun and laughter that I have been blessed with. Maybe a friend, maybe more.x Maybe a hike or a coffee (I'll have tea) :)

    I've spent the last 3 years travelling and working in Europe and one of my favourite things to do is travel. I love going out and being social but definitely appreciate a night in. I love trying new foods and going out with friends whether it's a backyard BBQ or pub. Backpacking around Europe as made me pretty laid back, I'm not really fussy or picky. I do love sports, watching them or playing them, I'll pretty much watch any sport live and I enjoy skiing, soccer, tennis and hiking. I'm also heavy with the sarcasm and enjoy having someone to make me laugh and take the piss out of me as much as I do to them.I find that messaging constantly on this site gets pretty tedious especially if you don't know the person too well. Things can be misconstrued, taken out of context or the joke is missed, so once I've established that you're not a serial killer, we should take life by the balls, get off our phones and meet in person. Coffee, drinks, unusual establishments serving food, pub quiz, local band, walking, hiking, laser tag, regular establishments serving food.
