I recently graduated with my Master's Degree in Athletic Training. I had put my career on hold for the relationship I was in. That is something that I never should have done and I am working to correct that mistake. My dream job would be working with a college team and becoming a professor to help the future of my profession. I have finally decided to put my happiness first. I spent a good part of my last relationship changing myself to make sure my partner was happy, which made me miserable most of the time. I do like to read and just escape into the book for a little while. However if the weather is nice sometimes I like to just go walk around the park. I never understood the idea of going to a movie on a first date. To me the first date is the time to try and get to know who you are with. A good first date to me is going out to dinner and then just taking a walk or going somewhere to talk. How do you know if you want to go on a second date if you don't get to know the person you are with on the first date? If you aren't up for dinner then maybe something fun like Putt-Putt or bowling. I am a pretty easy going person and will try anything, but on a first date I like to try and get to know the person I am with.
