They say you can tell a lot about a person by the company she keeps. Some of my best friends have 4 legs, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I volunteer for a local dog rescue, and there are always a few pups hanging around the house. I have one dog of my own (my 4 year old puggle) whom I absolutely adore. I love to take adventures, and include her whenever I can, be it hiking, swimming in the lake, or getting lost in the woods. The opportunities are endless! I'm a big music lover. Huge. As I don't, I'll settle for deep appreciation for those lucky souls that can play *** carry a tune. I love reading and love to discuss books. I'm a big believer that a good novel can change your perspective on the world; as a result, I consider myself to be a pretty open-minded individual. I enjoy being challenged, in both mind and body, and am looking for someone who will banter, debate, and tell me when I'm wrong. :) I am quirky, funny, and sometimes awkward. I'm somewhat of a beer snob, a red wine drinker, and a wanna-be chef. I will drive 7 hours to see a band play if the mood strikes me. I'm can be hopelessly romantic, occasionally a bit reckless, live-in-the-moment, sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs, laugh-until-it-hurts kind of girl. I try to live in the present moment, say yes *** no, and see the good in people. I believe passion is what drives our purpose in life, and I'm looking for someone who shares this view. Its really hard to talk about yourself. I rather make my first impression in person rather than speak about myself in type. But here's the short story. Im very active, love doing anything outside. I enjoy driving down back roads late at night, smoking a cigarette, listening to music, and clearing my mind. When I'm not working, wasting gas, or making a drunken ass of myself(rare occurrence these days. honest) , I'm usually reading, sleeping, or geeking out over something really stupid. I listen to punk, hip-hop, metal, classical, and some very select country. Anything that catches my ear drum is OK with me.I'm a libertarian, and an agnostic leaning towards atheist.There are so many things I want to do when I grow up, but for now I'm settling for working a crap job (that pays OK at least) and scraping together enough payola to move on to greener pastures where I can hopefully find a career in my field of study. Or just attaining a change in scenery would be nice too. I have tattoos and piercings. I'm more or less done with piercings, but I want LOTS MORE TATTOOS.Umm..I get very polite when I'm intoxicated. I'm very socially awkward. I've been shanked before (It was a toothbrush. I was working in the jail--I was not a resident). I do not have swag, whatever that is. Seeing roadkill makes me sad. Good manners are awesome. If you're rude to people, especially those who's job it is to serve you, you're a crummy person. A pleasant conversation over adult beverages at a bar that isn't so loud that we have to scream at each other to converse would be ideal.
