About Me

I am looking for a partner, this does not mean I am desperate or willing to settle for the first guy that comes around and is only 50% of the man I am looking for. I WANT a relationship, I DO NOT NEED one. There is a BIG difference. Starting off, I would like to inform you that I am a very opinionated person, I am very blunt with most of my thoughts and feelings.... basically I rarely use my filter.. lol..The 1st, and most important, thing you should know about me is that I am a MOTHER. My children will ALWAYS come first.... PERIOD... if you don't understand this, I recommend you hitting the "back" button now!!I am a strong hearted, southern raised woman. I personally feel I am a rare and dying breed. I love my jeans, t-shirt and baseball hat just as much as I love my mini skirt and heels. I have no problem rolling my sleeves up and getting dirty trying to fix something. I LOVE sports and miss playing more than anything... (growing up sucks... lol.. j/k)I mostly stay in during the week and find myself not going out as much on the weekends anymore. I still go out occasionally, but it is definitely not every weekend. I listen to almost all genres of music, it just depends on what my mood is for that day. It is more country than anything though. I love to read, mostly fiction but this too varies depending on my mood. I love to run, this is my escape from the world and how I relax, or let off steam.I am a little OCD when it comes to keeping my house clean and keeping things organized. But that is just the way it is. :) I do not have the time or patience for games, I know exactly what I will and will not put up....FYI, if you are still hung up on your ex, or are still allowing your ex to dictate how you live your life........     Hello there! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. :) As I suspect is often the case, I'm unsure of how to sum myself up in this here box. I joined this site just to see who is out there. If I'm being honest, I'm ready for a change of pace. I'm trying to steer away from the types of guys I've dated in the past. Obviously I must have been looking in the wrong places and perhaps, with luck on my side, I will meet a great guy on here. Who knows? Anything is possible. ;) I'm a college graduate (I took PR), and I'm working on finishing an honours degree in media studies. This semester will be my last. To pay the bills I work as a bartender/waitress. I also do some PR work for my boss and freelance in my spare time. I'm in a band, in which I sing and write songs. I also play some guitar, but I'm not very good (yet!). My favorite show right now is Game of Thrones, my favorite song du jour is "No.13 Baby" by The Pixies, and my favorite movie of late is "Candy."
