Well, I'm often told I'm not like other girls. I can usually hold a pretty decent conversation without talking about celebrities, shopping, etc... I like beer, football, military movies, cars (I know how to change a tire and how to change the oil in my car--not saying I actually do that lol but I do know how!!) I don't expect a man to "take care" of me- I know what hard work is, and I'm not afraid of it. I worked 3 jobs, went to college full time, and raised my daughter--by myself for almost 3 years, but have raised her by myself since she was 7 months old. Since I've finished school (for now...) I am still raising her alone, and working full time. It's almost a stubborn characteristic that I'm so independent, and it takes awhile for me to give that part of me up and let a man do things for me...I work full time in the medical field as a back office assistant for a surgeons private practice... no, I don't go into the OR with him, but I do assist in office procedures, set patients up for surgeries, pre-op/post-op visits, etc... if you're really that interested, I'll tell you more about it later. :) Luckily I have a Monday thru Friday job, but some days can run a little late... Sunday mornings I'm in church, other than that my weekends are pretty tame. My free time is usually spent at home. My neighbors are my friends and we often just chill on the back patio with each other's company and a few ice cold beers while the kids play. I don't go out much these days. I blame that on my age... reached 30 and it's all been down hill! Haha. :) My daughter is 7, and her dad isn't really a part of her life, so it's usually just her and I. There's tons more to me, but I don't think typing a novel about it now is really the best way to get to know me... feel free to send a message. But please, if you're going to send a message, please don't just send a "hey" or "hi" or "what's up"-- that's not giving me much of a conversation starter! Apparently I need to put this out there--yes, I have good pictures of myself on here. Let's be honest--who's going to put up terrible pictures of themself when they are basically trying to "sell" themself to someone.. Yes- I am a pretty girl-- no, I'm not conceited or anything like that-just don't want anyone to think that I feel like I'm ugly... But I'm also a big girl- far from skinny. Not really sure I have the best pictures to show my "body".... Just thought I would put that out there... Anything can usually be turned into a good time. The only thing I ever ask of a first date is not to be lead on--if you aren't interested, make it be known. There are ways of doing that without being a jerk.Believe me, I'll do the same! We're all adults, and honestly, this girl may be a child at heart, but she's done playing games. :)

Hey guys!! I am a single mommy and a college student. Don't know many people here yet so looking to make some new friends and see where that leads. Yes, I do really mean FRIENDS! I am very strong and independent, and I make that known. I do have a very soft side as well, it just takes time to see that side. If you make it to that point, chances are I have feelings for you or we have been friends for a good amount of time. I can be very vulnerable and pretty much stupid when it comes to love so I don't play games when it comes to my heart. If that's what you're after, know that it will take patience and action on your part to show me you are worth me letting my guard down. I don't tolerate cheating or lying of any kind. Believe me when I say one time is all it takes for me to forget all about you! And that's not mean, that's the truth! If you can't handle honesty, you can't handle me! Turn back now lolAs I said, I am very laid back. I love my t-shirts, holy jeans and flip flops. I can dress up if needed, but prefer to just be comfortable. I don't wear a ton of makeup everyday and I don't go get my hair and nails done professionally. I am a mommy and none of that would last, so not only would it be a waste of time but I could use that money on my kids or for bills. I have 3 kids, one of which has special needs and is always with me. Not that I can't get a sitter from time to time but 99% of the time, he is with me. I have my own place. I don't have a vehicle at the moment but expect that to change very soon. I go to school full time so I am very busy with that most of the time. I do make off time though. As they say, work hard, play harder!I love just hanging with friends. I enjoy sitting by the fire having a few beers. I don't think I could live without music so its usually playing in my house most of the day. I also enjoy watching a good movie, mostly into comedy and horror. I don't enjoy cooking much, but obviously I do cook, maybe that could change if I had someone to cook with :-) I'm not into clubs. I might go to a bar on rare occasion but would prefer drinks with dinner *** just getting drunk at a bar, unless of course it was a birthday or something and I went with a group of friends. I also enjoy parks and camping and really anything kid friendly, something that my kids and I could both find enjoyment in. Obviously, you must enjoy kids. They are the most important thing in my life! I would like to date someone who also has children. I WILL NOT date anyone who doesn't have kids! I can't and won't have anymore children, so for dating, you would have to be content with that. And if you say that you don't want kids, but don't have any yet, I refuse to take your word for it and I will not pursue anything more than friendship. I don't believe anyone that hasn't had the experience can honestly say they never want to do it, so it's not a chance i'm willing to take.
