About Me

I love taking advantage of all the things this city has to offer. That being said, I also love getting out of the city when I can to travel, go camping, or go to music festivals.I went to school for photography, but somehow ended up working as a nanny after I spent 2 years working as an au pair in the Netherlands. I definitely didn't see myself ending up here, but I have a pretty awesome job, so right now I'm gonna see where it takes me.When I'm not busy working or being... well... busy, I like keeping myself occupied with some hobbies: furniture restoration, curling up with a good novel, baking, photography, hula hooping, watching movies (is that even a hobby?)Basically, I like doing stuff! If you like doing stuff, too, we might get along.Here are some other things I like: eating delicious baked goods, cats with scrunchy faces, dance parties, traveling, languages (I have a soft spot for Germanic languages in particular), the Netherlands, learning about different cultures, trying new foods, breaking into abandoned buildings, discovering new music, crossword puzzles, many varieties of cheese, vintage shopping and garage sale-ing, cycling on warm summer days, Sunday afternoon naps, thunderstorms, lying in bed all day spooning, strong****ails, lying in hammocks.At first, I can be pretty quiet, but once I'm comfortable with someone I can be pretty loud and sassy. I also like cracking jokes, especially when I have some liquor in me, so it would be a good idea if you have a sense of humor, too.Music is pretty important to me, too. My biggest love is electronic, but I like a variety of stuff... and let's not forget Dance Mix '93!

    Heya! I am sporty, I played football ( the proper kind for all you that don't know..gaelic!! I did a few adventure races last year, including gaelforce west and hope to do the same this year.I love traveling, and have seen and been to lots of interesting places including Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Figi and the States as well as bits and pieces of Europe...always one to get up and go, I hope to do lots more, including South America..or where ever the sun takes me! I also like heading to gigs,festivals and comedy nights. The arts are important to me, and I enjoy a night at the IFI or a show in town, let that be a high end production or an amateur theatre group. I love cooking ( I make a mean paella..or so I have been told!). I love red wine and cheese...I think I was French in a former life..and I enjoy trying out new restaurants.So...pretty much, I'd like to think I am a pretty normal down to earth kind of girl!! I am fairly easy going, and although I work hard and I am passionate about what I do, I enjoy my down time, and friends, family and my hobbies come number one.     Not sure what to say here..... i'd probably describe myself as happy, bubbly person, who is kind, honest and I dont try to pretend I'm something that I'm not, I quite outgoing, you would rarely find me sitting around doing nothing. Love going to concerts, cinema, meeting friends but you cant beat the quiet nights in front of the TV..I'm sick of the whole "meeting people in the pub" so thought i'd try this out.     Where are all the good guys gone? Post your suggestions here ;-PLooking for my ideal which is being with someone who can be your best friend that you fancy. Things I like are movies, banter, music, reading, laughing, writing, tea, dancing, a few pints, pondering weird stuff, being silly and having the craic! My favourite place is probably at a music festival with the sun shining!! I like people who mean what they say and say what they mean.. people who aren't distracted about how they come across. Life's too short to pretend to be anyone other than yourself. Its okay to be silly AND serious, in fact my ideal man (and many of my friends) would probably be a combination of both. A good sense of humour is top priority. I think what people find funny is often what reveals the most about them. I'm generally very curious about everything and tend to like this in other people. Sometimes you can't beat a good debate even if you may not be talking to each other after!;-. Hopefuly more good craic than awkward;-P
