Where does anyone start when they are asked to describe themselves? It's probably one of the most awkward things you can ask a person. I guess the number one thing you should know about me is that I speak my mind and I'm honest, I try to avoid being brutally honest because I don't like hurting other peoples feelings. It's true what they say: If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it at all. I'm not usually an online dating kind of girl. The most important thing to me is that initial spark. The feeling you get when you see that special someone across the room and you *** that you want to talk to them or get to know them. Sometimes that spark can be misleading but that feeling still feels pretty incredible when it's there. I guess you could say I'm one of those people who gets excited very easily. It's the small things in life that make me smile. I'm a stop and smell the roses kind of girl (well more like sunflowers but you know where I'm going with this).The only kind of music I don't like is heavy metal and classical but usually I consider music food for the soul. Depending on my mood my taste varies. I enjoy the best of both worlds. I'm always down for an adventure but I also like entertainment based activities. My taste in life isn't limited. I want to experience as much as I can. Change is good. I like to say that I'm down to earth...but why don't you be the judge of that and get to know me. Ask questions. I believe life is an incredible experience, and I try to live it as such, taking advantage of opportunities to enjoy it, make a difference, experience new cultures, places, and activities, and learn. I studied science in undergrad (began in physics, switched to environmental sciences), and have switched to early childhood (preschool) special education and brain injuries for grad school. I will always love science and math. Now I'm finishing my masters, doing therapy for kids with autism, and student teaching.I don't usually wake up super early naturally, but as long as I have something to do, I love being up- a good morning hike or run is fantastic! Coffee and breakfast after getting a workout in and enjoying the outdoors is the best! I would love to find someone I can run, walk, and hike with. I like to stay active, and tend to cycle through different things for a few months at a time, usually running, dancing (zumba or ballet), yoga, lifting, hiking, walking, and occasional other random things like swimming, kayaking, and indoor climbing. I prefer playing sports to watching them.I am attracted to people who are active and driven, but not so much so that they can't relax and go with the flow. Intelligence and intellectual curiosity are important to me.I am blessed to have a wonderful group of friends in and out of the area.
