If one more guy messages me saying I'm cute, I am going to lose it. I do not want to be in the same category as what someone would call their 8 year old niece. I'm looking for someone who shares similar interests....I need a roller coaster buddy and someone to travel with lol. I'm very close to my family and friends, they are very important to me and I'm looking for someone who feels the same way about theirs, with similar values. I've reached that point in my life that almost all of my friends are married (some with kids), or in a relationship. They don't have much time to get away with the single girl, or go out on a Friday night to a bar, although, at this point I'm over the bar scene, but I'm down for the occasional drink. I'm beyond the casual dating or hook ups, but I don't expect something to be a relationship after a week lol. I quit smoking a year ago, so I'm looking for a non-smoker like myself, a family oriented person, someone that's beyond the age of clubs and parties and getting drunk, and someone who does not have children yet but wants children. (P.S. If you take shirtless self pics in your bathroom or ones of just you pulling your shirt up to show off your washboard stomach I will laugh at you and you will not get a response.) A first date should never be a movie! You can't have a conversation! Dinner, coffee, I'm fine with anything. Our second date can be an amusement park lol.

I believe life is an incredible experience, and I try to live it as such, taking advantage of opportunities to enjoy it, make a difference, experience new cultures, places, and activities, and learn. I studied science in undergrad (began in physics, switched to environmental sciences), and have switched to early childhood (preschool) special education and brain injuries for grad school. I will always love science and math. Now I'm finishing my masters, doing therapy for kids with autism, and student teaching.I don't usually wake up super early naturally, but as long as I have something to do, I love being up- a good morning hike or run is fantastic! Coffee and breakfast after getting a workout in and enjoying the outdoors is the best! I would love to find someone I can run, walk, and hike with. I like to stay active, and tend to cycle through different things for a few months at a time, usually running, dancing (zumba or ballet), yoga, lifting, hiking, walking, and occasional other random things like swimming, kayaking, and indoor climbing. I prefer playing sports to watching them.I am attracted to people who are active and driven, but not so much so that they can't relax and go with the flow. Intelligence and intellectual curiosity are important to me.I am blessed to have a wonderful group of friends in and out of the area.
