Confession: I’m getting a little tired of being a single girl in what seems to be a couple’s world. While I can usually manage to keep myself busy, I think some things would just be more fun as a team. All depends on the other person, and situation. I am one of those women that will keep you on your toes when needed :) What am I looking for? I could write a novel about desirable qualities, but I'll spare you because I have learned by now that in the end it's all just about the right chemistry. I won't settle until I find that. The basics: Something genuine. The real deal. Definitely no games. We're adults here. Someone to share my life with - good and bad, and have some fun dammit lol. Yeah, I want the whole "best friend" thing. Someone that makes me smile in the morning (which is not always an easy task without coffee haha) and makes my day brighter. That old "butterflies in the stomach" feeling would be awesome. I believe life is an incredible experience, and I try to live it as such, taking advantage of opportunities to enjoy it, make a difference, experience new cultures, places, and activities, and learn. I studied science in undergrad (began in physics, switched to environmental sciences), and have switched to early childhood (preschool) special education and brain injuries for grad school. I will always love science and math. Now I'm finishing my masters, doing therapy for kids with autism, and student teaching.I don't usually wake up super early naturally, but as long as I have something to do, I love being up- a good morning hike or run is fantastic! Coffee and breakfast after getting a workout in and enjoying the outdoors is the best! I would love to find someone I can run, walk, and hike with. I like to stay active, and tend to cycle through different things for a few months at a time, usually running, dancing (zumba or ballet), yoga, lifting, hiking, walking, and occasional other random things like swimming, kayaking, and indoor climbing. I prefer playing sports to watching them.I am attracted to people who are active and driven, but not so much so that they can't relax and go with the flow. Intelligence and intellectual curiosity are important to me.I am blessed to have a wonderful group of friends in and out of the area. They mean the world to me, and I would do just about anything for them.I love to dance, but am not that good at it. What this mostly means is I will want you to dance with me at weddings!
