I am girly, but I love beer, video games and hockey. I never go anywhere without a book (I read a lot of fantasy and fiction and literature- I work in a bookstore so I read pretty much anything as long as its fiction.) I love swimming and camping, and randomly dancing. I love animals, especially dogs. My ideal day would involve a beach and a book. I am looking for someone who fits my own brand of weird quirky crazy.

I'm a pretty laid back and happy person. I play in a band and go to a lot of shows. Not a music snob though and I don't judge people on what they listen too. I am a passionate person about what I do and so often change things in my life as I need new challenges. I need someone who loves challenges and ideally we would push each other to be better people. I am clumsy and a little awkward and really young at heart. You would have to find that indearing and you need to be young at heart too, don't take yourself too seriously. I have a busy life with full time work and I socialize a lot and have a family I care about deeply and I need someone who keeps themselves busy, and doesn't need to much attention. I like talking, I could talk for days so either you like listening or you like talking too! I like to have excessive amounts of fun! I love my work and am passionate about it too. I love being outside. I exercise and take care of myself ( sometimes) so ideally you do the same. I am not someone who runs everyday, or works out 7 times a week, I do everything in moderation except fun! oh ya and you have to be hilarious. Probably go for a walk in the river valley or go parachuting out of a plane!

Alright, a little about me. I'm a good listener, laid back and honest to a fault. I have a great sense of humour which at times is witty and sarcastic, other times it's a bit demented because, yeah, I can take it there. I'll pretty much say what I'm thinking or how I’m feeling whenever I'm thinking or feeling it. I have a soft heart, even a good Superbowl commercial can make me cry (the Budweiser Clydesdale commercial, anyone?). I fear I may appear to be a bit stand-offish but that would be my shyness in its truest form. So no, I'm not being aloof or uninterested...I really am just shy.Bucket List Items:Completed - Appear on Romper Room; Jump off the Stratosphere in Vegas; Go to drag queen bingo; Incomplete - Learn to play the drums (Rock Band does not count); Walk across Abbey Road; Take a woodworking class (hope to cross this off the list in the fall). There's more but then we wouldn't have much to talk about.I'm attracted to a guy who has a great sense of humor, but honesty and integrity are on the top of my list, as well. I like to talk (that whole shy thing is just in the beginning) so it'd be great if you like to talk to, makes things less awkward. The right guy for me will appreciate my no nonsense attitude, and find it adorable that I sometimes talk so fast my brain just can't keep up. There's more to talk about, of course, but I'd rather you just ask me a question and we'll go from there. Deal? I like to just meet for drinks/coffee the first time I'm meeting someone. It's casual and no pressure and gives us a chance to talk and get to know each other and see if we want to go out again :)
