I grew up playing outside and it is where I thrive. I love wild spaces and feel so lucky to live in a part of the world with some of the best. Cities are great for socialising, music and culture, but I like open, faraway places. I struggle with the balance between getting away from it all and being a valuable contributor.I cherish simplicity and admire self sufficiency; these are both things I strive to come back to in my own life. Someday I would like to grow my own food, build my own home, but for now I'm too busy exploring.For the past three years I have been exploring the world at a very human pace - by bicycle, sailboat and kayak I have travelled the length of the Americas - I have realised the world is very small if you have enough time. I love the feeling of the open ocean and the sight of land after a month at sea.I am a dreamer and a planner - I like to think big and make it happen. Every journey happens one day at a time.Documentation is always a focus for my wanderings - through writing, photo, audio, video - there are stories to be found literally everywhere and I love the challenge of trying to share them in beautiful ways.At the moment my lifestyle is very transient. I spend long stretches of time in the wilderness - for work and for play - and I love it. Some days I think I might try staying put for a moment or two, and then all of a sudden a new adventure has formed and I'm off and away again. As unconventional as it might be, I would love to find someone who wants to explore with me but who also has plenty of adventures of their own and would support me in my own jaunts into the world. low key, easy going, have some fun.

    I love hiking and camping, rollerblading, canoeing, and tubing in the summer, and I'm always looking for someone to snowboard with in the winter. Natural, candid shots at the lake or camping are much better!- Mirror selfies in general... really? you don't have ANY pictures of yourself that are not in front of the mirror?- Posers, thugs, chainzzz... etc...I'm not looking for anything too serious at the moment, but it would be nice to find someone to hang out with... go for a hike or snowboarding... any one?
