I grew up playing outside and it is where I thrive. I love wild spaces and feel so lucky to live in a part of the world with some of the best. Cities are great for socialising, music and culture, but I like open, faraway places. I struggle with the balance between getting away from it all and being a valuable contributor.I cherish simplicity and admire self sufficiency; these are both things I strive to come back to in my own life. Someday I would like to grow my own food, build my own home, but for now I'm too busy exploring.For the past three years I have been exploring the world at a very human pace - by bicycle, sailboat and kayak I have travelled the length of the Americas - I have realised the world is very small if you have enough time.
