It would seem that finding that best friend and companion to share life with is more challenging than I had origionally thought...lol Apparently being a 26 year old woman that is witty, sweet, independant and goal oriented is not for everyone. In all seriousness i'm not an unrealistic person I am well aware that things dont just happen overnight I'm not willing to rush into things to settle down but what I would like is to work on building and friendship next maybe date and from there if there seems to be that spark why not see if we share the capability to build more....if its not there then lets call it what it is...time spent meeting someone new and taking the time to learn someone elses unique view of the world...I'm fun outgoing love to laugh and make ppl laugh...I can be a homebody but at the same time I fully enjoy exploring the beautiful province I live in and beyond..A few simple things that I'd require of someone I'm looking for is that you have a job(I know to normal ppl this sounds a little ridiculous but you'd be surprised ;P ), not party persistently( i enjoy a good party like the best of them but theres a time and a place). Life is definatly something to be celebrated and I dont intend on wasting my time feeling sorry for what I dont possess but I will absolutely be thankful for what I do have. I grew up playing outside and it is where I thrive. I love wild spaces and feel so lucky to live in a part of the world with some of the best. Cities are great for socialising, music and culture, but I like open, faraway places. I struggle with the balance between getting away from it all and being a valuable contributor.I cherish simplicity and admire self sufficiency; these are both things I strive to come back to in my own life. Someday I would like to grow my own food, build my own home, but for now I'm too busy exploring.For the past three years I have been exploring the world at a very human pace - by bicycle, sailboat and kayak I have travelled the length of the Americas - I have realised the world is very small if you have enough time. I love the feeling of the open ocean and the sight of land after a month at sea.I am a dreamer and a planner - I like to think big and make it happen. Every journey happens one day at a time.Documentation is always a focus for my wanderings - through writing, photo, audio, video - there are stories to be found literally everywhere and I love the challenge of trying to share them in beautiful ways.At the moment my lifestyle is very transient. I spend long stretches of time in the wilderness - for work and for play - and I love it. Some days I think I might try staying put for a moment or two, and then all of a sudden a new adventure has formed and I'm off and away again.
