I've done this online dating this for awhile, off and on. Haven't met Mr. Right yet but I'm patient and know it'll happen when it's suppose to. I have spent a lot of time growing my career and growing as a person. Being single has been very positive because I have gotten to focus on me and making myself the best possible me that I can be. I'm finally genuinely ready to get to know, grow with and be with someone great. No settling. Honestly. I work way too hard to be with a man who doesn't have it together.Few random things - I know...controversial right. I grew up with and love dogs. Just got a little boxer puppy. So you've gotta love dogs, just in case you're the dog baby daddy...or however that would work ;) I love reality TV because who doesn't love drama that isn't their own. I avoid it in my own life so I love watching others.I am open to getting to know good men from anywhere in the US. I don't think Mr. Right has to be within a 10 mile radius...he may be across the country. I don't plan to ever settle, I want a great guy who is right for me not just a guy who is close to me. I am attracted to black man only. This preference does not reflect on or change who I am as a person. I am a great person (no really) I just have a preference. Going out for dinner or drinks. Absolutely no way is a first date to be held at someones home. Actually not the first several dates until you're dating each other. If this is your thing then please keep moving. I'm not for you.

Let me start by saying I'm not sure why I'm on here. I guess I frequently activate and deactivate my profile because I don't want a relationship, yet I don't want to miss out on any opportunities to potentially meet someone. Since I work crazy hours and go to school full-time, it's hard for me to go out and meet people. I know my profile says "wants to date but nothing serious", but I find these options misleading. When I had "casual/no commitment", I had swingers, creeps, and married men contacting me. I don't feel "Wants a relationship" is adequate either. Sure, I would like one...but only if it's the right person, and after we've gotten to know each other first. Who jumps into these things head first? That being said, "wants to date but nothing serious" doesn't mean 'serial dater' either. I'm just pretty selective in who I decide to let in my life. I'm a homebody for the most part, though I also love to see new places and try new things. Spontaneously road- Think I might move out there one day.Music, ethnic foods, and GRRM books make me happy. I detest shopping, and would live in jeans and flip flops (or boots) if I could. Just a simple girl looking for a simple guy.
