About Me

I've had some bad experiences with meetville, but why let that get me down. I am looking for someone genuine. Someone who isn't going to waste my time and make me feel we are headed somewhere strong only to disappoint. I'm not here for a booty call. I'm not on here to "just be friends." DARE I say it....I'm here to find someone I can have a strong relationship with. Someone to make me laugh, confuse the hell out of me by saying something random, and cheer me up when work gets rough( which, working with autism gets very rough). I am a good person so please don't treat me like some common **** you find off the street. I deserve more and I can give you more. It's about mutual respect. Also, travelling to see you is OK at first but it becomes tiresome and expensive. I am looking for someone who is at MOST a half hour away. Oh yea....about me: I like long walks on the beach after a romantic candle light...yea, ummmm....no! I am a very down to Earth type woman. I don't mind staying at home to curl up on the couch and watch a movie. On the same end, I love to go out and travel, go to concerts, and just do something random. I am a Special needs teacher for children who have Autism. Originally I went to school for Criminal Justice and Justice Studies and got my B.A., but found myself in a strange situation. Now I enjoy what I do. I am also an artist. I do tattoo and abstract designs. I have a passion for picking up a pen or marker and just letting it flow. One of my pics are posted here. I have over ***drawings. I consider myself to be very creative. I like crafts and anything that stands out. Really....they do change colors. I have lost over ***lbs since September ***. Im not doing it to be a stick figure so many guys oogle over, but to stay healthy. Maybe we can be workout buddies. Lol. I go 5+ times a week.     What can I say? It has come to this - I am trying this whole internet dating thing, again. In addition to being an eternal cynic, I guess I am also an eternal optimist. Best ways to grab my attention:- make your message as brief and generic as possible; if I can tell that you copy and paste the same thing to multiple people, I will admire your brilliant time-saving strategy.- ***, no, defy the rules of grammar and spelling - the harder I have to work to decipher the message, the less room there will be for criticizing its contents- talk about yourself some more - I mean even if it occurred to me to click on your profile, it never hurts to reinforce the information one more time, especially with a life-story that's so riveting it's worthy of a Hallmark channel drama- include some pictures: any variation on the shirtless mirror pic; the close up on the body part you are most proud of;; creative use of angles, photoshop effects and cropping that hides your face can add that magic bit of mystery that every girl so desperately craves.I can keep going, but I feel like maybe I should save the rest for the ultimate guide to internet dating and make some cheddar.
