After a year and a half since my last serious relationship, I'm ready to get back out there. Here's to finding a great guy! I hate writing about myself, so I'm going to keep this section rather short. If there's anything you want to ask, I'm an open book. I grew up in the country, spending every day fishing, swimming and riding horses. My access to horses and lakes has changed a bit since the big move, so my new favorite hobby is hiking.. I think I'm hooked!I am the easiest person to get along with. I love people and am very laid back, curious, and open to new experiences, so I'm typically 100% happy doing just about anything when in good company. My family, friends and dog are my world. I am incredibly lucky to have so many great, genuine, and hilarious people in my life! They keep things very interesting.. gotta love em!I know myself well and I'm very comfortable with who I am as an individual. I know what (who) I want and need in my life. I am looking for someone genuine, open, open-minded, trustworthy, driven, kind and who appreciates what life has to offer. Really, those qualities are all musts.Looking for that "best friend!"

Well, my friends swear by meetville, so here we go... WHAT I'M UP TO THESE DAYS: I went to veterinary school, hated it, so now I am currently working on my MS in Biology....I am very tired of school! I am also working as a coordinator of a charter yacht company in the SF Bay...very fun! MY PERSONAL PHILOSOPHIES: Work hard, play harder / make a total stranger smile/laugh everyday...WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: Someone to share adventures with... just someone, anyone who is passionate about life, humor, career, traveling, food/cooking, dancing, beaches, mountains, exploring... someone who is game for anything and wants to experience good -old -fashioned -down -to- Or hiking or skiing so hard your legs are crippled and then putting on nice clothes and getting hoarse/deaf from jammin' at a great concert/club/band/DJ in the city. Someone who wants to go to the new exhibit at the De Young Museum and then discuss totally random topics over a great cup of coffee from some corner of the world I have never heard of, but need to travel to immediately... I live for those awesome moments in life... THE ClIFF NOTES VERSION: I look for similar in education, interests and humor. A great laugh/smile is a must, a skier is a plus - ha, that kinda rhymes!? I look for a witty conversationalist who is chivalrous and romantic AKA has manners. Someone who knows when to be serious and professional, and when to let loose. I look for a date who enjoys the city JUST AS MUCH as the country... Send me a msg..I don't bite :) Surprise me with something different... Doesn't have to be expensive, just creative :)

"You will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place." You might guess that I like to travel. To a fault? Oh well. I love making art and finding other people's art- illustrated journals, photography, intaglio are some faves. Also unintentional or unnoticed art. Uh, super 90's child, so I pretty much never stopped loving all the music that came from that decade. Otherwise, let's say Grizzly Bear, The XX, Manu Chao (that's what I run to), Calle 13, Fleet Foxes, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, Bon Iver, and I've had this super catchy Pheonix Foundation song in my head for 2 and a half weeks now... I want to be a teacher, but I'm pretty sure I'll never learn enough to feel truly qualified for the job. I'm also pretty sure that if I ever knew "enough" I'd be missing the single most important quality of a good teacher.
